A natural love for smiling is one of my greatest gifts as a tour guide. Earning a bachelor's degree, the experience and knowledge I accumulated in higher education are my wealth as a tour guide, making my commentary more refined and in-depth. A quick tongue, an eye for reading people, and an understanding nature are also powerful weapons in my work as a tour guide. Standard Mandarin plus fluent English allow me to put my learning to use and play to my strengths in this job. To quote one of my guests: "Xiao Ma was born to be a tour guide, and will absolutely be very successful at it."
