A. Zhangjiajie Tourism Group Online Party-Building Station

B. Baofeng Lake Party-Building Station

The Party branch and leadership team of Zhangjiajie Tourism Group's Baofeng Lake Company, in the campaign to excel and strive for excellence, in accordance with the "five good, four transformations" standard system, actively built platforms for Party members to play their roles. ① Now we have arrived at the lake area. We will take the "Zhao Mingjian" Party member demonstration tour boat to appreciate the charming scenery of Baofeng Lake. Let me first briefly introduce Comrade Zhao Mingjian; you can also learn more about his advanced deeds on the Zhangjiajie Tourism Group Party Committee's online station. Zhao Mingjian is an ordinary employee at our scenic area. On October 9, 2002, while gathering medicinal herbs in the scenic area for his father, he was bitten by a venomous snake (five-step snake). To save his own life, he cut off his injured index finger. On the way to the hospital for treatment, he heard the cries for help from Shanghai tourists Pan Weili and Xu Ying, a married couple, at the bottom of a cliff, and without hesitation launched a solo rescue. After the Pan couple was saved, Zhao Mingjian hurried to the hospital to save himself, leaving only a pool of dark blood at the scene. The Pan couple was deeply moved. It was only after a search by the publicity department that Zhao Mingjian, who had saved others and been content to remain an unsung hero, was found half a month later. His deeds spread slowly in Zhangjiajie, from person to person. In 2004, CCTV, People's Daily, China Tourism News, Shanghai Dragon TV, Hunan TV, Hunan Daily, Huaxi Metropolis Daily, Red Net, and dozens of other media outlets successively carried in-depth reports. On June 29, 2004, Comrade He Guangwei, Party Secretary and Director of the National Tourism Administration, personally wrote instructions requiring the national tourism system to carry out activities to learn from Comrade Zhao Mingjian. That same year, Comrade Yang Zhengwu, Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, also gave instructions for the whole province to carry out activities to learn from Comrade Zhao Mingjian. At the same time, all parts of the country, especially the tourism system, set off a wave of learning from Comrade Zhao Mingjian. Comrade Zhao Mingjian has successively received such honors as the National Moral Model Nomination Award, Hunan Provincial Moral Model, Hunan Provincial Model Worker, Hunan Provincial Advanced Individual in Courageous Acts, and Hunan Provincial Tourism Industry Style Building Pacesetter. In his subsequent work, he has repeatedly performed righteous deeds and moved society many times. Currently, Comrade Zhao Mingjian works quietly at the "Party Member Demonstration Post" and is highly praised by Chinese and foreign tourists. In a little while, you can see him in person!
② Now we will take the "Gao Jian" Party member demonstration boat. You can appreciate the lake and mountain scenery here and experience the quality service of the "Party Member Demonstration Boat." Here, let me first introduce Comrade Gao Jian, who sacrificed himself to save others. Comrade Gao Jian is an ordinary lake safety officer at the scenic area. On November 1, 2004, he nearly gave his young life to save a Korean female tourist who jumped into the water after a quarrel with her husband during their trip. At the critical moment between life and death, he practiced the values of a Communist Party member through his brave and fearless actions (you can learn about his moving deeds on the Zhangjiajie Tourism Group Party Committee's online Party-building station)! He is still a safety officer at our lake scenic area.
③ Another scenic highlight of our Baofeng Lake Scenic Area is the tour guide team that won the "National Youth Civilization Award." The Baofeng Lake Scenic Area tour guide team was established in 2001. These young women, with an average age of only 21, treat Baofeng Lake Scenic Area as their home. In providing commentary services to tourists, they always adhere to the "sixteen-character" principle: mountains and waters first, culture and humanities second, humorous and witty, strong in emotion. Energizing the tourist atmosphere, stimulating tourist participation, and letting tourists share the joy of the mountains and waters is these young women's specialty. Therefore, on Baofeng Lake, songs ring out, laughter continues, and applause surges like tides, presenting a beautiful scene of harmony between people and nature. Because of these young women's arduous efforts, Baofeng Lake Scenic Area has been rated by Chinese and foreign tourists and tourism authorities as "the scenic area in Zhangjiajie with the most three sounds (singing, laughter, and applause)." The young women of the tour guide team provide guide and commentary services to hundreds of thousands of Chinese and foreign tourists every year, assist in emergency rescues of tourists thousands of times, and working in the rain or while sick is commonplace. In the minds of Chinese and foreign visitors, the lively and lovely young women of the Baofeng Lake Scenic Area tour guide team, who make Chinese and foreign visitors linger, have undoubtedly become the face of Zhangjiajie's people—clean and bright, vivid and charming. It is especially worth mentioning that they have also had the honor of participating in receiving national leaders and domestic and international dignitaries such as Bo Yibo, Wei Jianxing, Peng Peiyun, Uyunqimg, Lien Chan, Tung Chee-hwa, and Tanzanian President Kikwete, as well as famous singers such as Song Zuying and Yang Lan, winning honor for Baofeng Lake's tourism reception. C. Eco-friendly Passenger Transport Party-Building Station

We have now arrived at the Eco-friendly Passenger Transport Party-Building Station under Zhangjiajie Tourism Group. The main business of the Eco-friendly Passenger Transport Company is passenger transport services in the Wulingyuan core scenic area of Zhangjiajie. The company has registered capital of 50 million RMB, total project investment of 210 million RMB, 209 eco-friendly passenger vehicles, and 384 on-the-job employees. The company officially began operations in January 2003. Its operation has enabled the core scenic area to achieve the goals of protecting the World Natural Heritage environment and regulating the operational order of the core scenic area. In terms of management and operations, our company has always upheld the service philosophy of "serving tourists, responding to every request." In the campaign to excel and strive for excellence, our company, like all tourism window units, highlights the theme of "Brighter Party flags, more satisfactory service," carries out the "serving the people, excelling and striving for excellence" campaign, and improves service quality. The construction of our Party-building station adheres to the principle of promoting work through Party building and using work carriers to complement Party building, achieving dual development of tourism and Party-building work. The construction of our Party-building station is divided into three major sections: First, the culture wall. The culture wall consists of 15 small panels, mainly introducing the company's operations, Party building, financial disclosure, corporate culture, work services, and other content; and 2-3 panels are selected each month for updating, so that employees can promptly learn about the company's new developments (please visit and learn about them). Second, the exhibition hall. Please, leaders, go up to the second-floor exhibition hall... Here, we can learn that the company has successively passed certifications for three international systems: the "ISO9001" international quality system, the "ISO14001" international environmental system, and the "OHSAS18001" international occupational health and safety system, bringing qualitative changes to the scenic area's operating environment, operational order, and ecological environment. In Party building, Youth League building, and ideological and political work, we have successively won many provincial, municipal, and district honors, including "Hunan Provincial Grassroots Party Building Demonstration Site," "Hunan Provincial Youth Civilization Award," "Hunan Provincial Advanced Unit in Consumer Rights Protection," and "Hunan Provincial Advanced Party Organization." At the same time, the company's exemplary deeds in honest service, rescuing tourists, and returning lost property are also displayed here. According to incomplete statistics, since 2003, company employees have recovered items worth more than 4 million RMB that tourists left on eco-friendly buses, and have voluntarily rescued tourists more than 4,000 times (after viewing, please follow me into the monitoring center). Third, the monitoring center. Dear leaders, this is the core of our company's operations management—the monitoring center. It can provide all-round monitoring services for the scenic area's stations and grounds 24 hours a day. It consists of five systems: the real-time monitoring system, the online live broadcast system, the eco-friendly vehicle GPRS satellite positioning system, the office automation system, and the video information release system. D. He Long Park Party-Building Station

Welcome to the He Long Park Party-Building Station for study and guidance.
Zhangjiajie has three thousand marvelous peaks and eight hundred beautiful waters, hailed as the world's most extraordinary mountains and waters. He Long Park is located at the summit of Tianzi Mountain in the core scenic area. Among the three thousand and one peaks is a bronze statue—that is the bronze statue of He Long.
Due to the special nature of He Long Park, our Party-building work is also carried out based on its special characteristics. First, Marshal He Long was a revolutionary of the older generation and the founder of the Hunan-Hubei-Sichuan-Guizhou Revolutionary Base Area. Based on this characteristic, we choose specific times to conduct traditional education and Party spirit education for Party member employees, carrying out thematic education activities under the He Long bronze statue such as "Review the oath, study the Party Constitution again, and forever preserve advanced nature," and also promote this form to the whole society and Party organizations. Second, Tianzi Mountain covers 67 square kilometers, and the tour routes are intricate and complex. Tourists often get lost, lose items, or have people go missing. To promptly provide services to tourists in need of help, the He Long Park Party-Building Station, relying on the scenic area service hotline 0744-5555555 and taking the spirit of Marshal He Long and dedication to the scenic area cause as its spiritual driving force, has established a responsive and timely Party member volunteer service team. As soon as a help call is received, the Party member service team will carry out rescue within a very short time. In the past three years, the Party member service team has rescued tourists more than 17,000 times, returned more than 3,100 lost items, worth over ten million yuan.

E. Ten-Mile Gallery Party-Building Station

We have now arrived at the Ten-Mile Gallery Party-Building Station. Welcome to ride the Ten-Mile Gallery sightseeing tram, experience the quality service of the Party member demonstration posts "Pioneer" and "Civilization" trams, and feel the gratifying changes that Party-building work has brought to the ecological environment.
As the core scenic area of Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan, the Ten-Mile Gallery has lush vegetation and is a special-grade fire prevention zone, so please do not smoke on the sightseeing tram, and do not litter fruit peels or paper scraps, in order to keep it beautiful and clean.
"Walk through the Ten-Mile Gallery, as if within a painting." The Ten-Mile Gallery has continuous peaks and charming scenery, but the river valley it relies on once had rocks strewn about due to environmental damage before development, and the ecological environment had suffered some damage. However, since the establishment of the sightseeing tram company, it has always made maintaining the scenic area's ecology and its diversity a focus of its work. Especially in recent years, the company has carried out the campaign to excel and strive for excellence and Party-building work, established a Party member ecological rescue service team, regularly protected and managed the biological and ecological conditions along the scenic area, prevented soil erosion, prevented poaching, and created Party member responsibility zones. Through our efforts, the woody plants along the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, such as ginkgo, Bretschneidera, Emmenopterys, and Pseudotaxus, have consistently remained at more than 700 species, and some have been artificially replanted. There are more than 20 species of national key protected animals, including macaques, pangolins, Temminck's tragopans, and mandarin ducks. The wild macaque park has even become a beautiful scenic highlight of the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area.
People often say that tourism development often brings destruction to nature. But in our Zhangjiajie, in the Ten-Mile Gallery, because of the emphasis on protection, because Party-building work regards ecological protection as a duty and obligation of Party members, delimits responsibility zones, and establishes rescue service teams, our ecology and environment have not only not been destroyed, but have been further protected and restored. I think all leaders have already had personal experience and feelings about this.
