I just came back from Zhangjiajie. Zhangjiajie is currently offering discounts, free tickets for students. Zhangjiajie is not very expensive. For accommodation, we stayed on the mountain for 50 RMB per night. I just felt that eating was not very convenient, so remember to bring more food. We went to Tianzi Mountain, which was quite beautiful. What left a deeper impression was Yellow Dragon Cave—so cool, very comfortable inside, but once you come out it's very hot. The mountain is very cool, and you need a quilt at night. Buying things is also very cheap; remember to bargain~ I think going to Wulingyuan is quite good. The Bailong Elevator is quite nice. It's just that transportation in Zhangjiajie is not very convenient. We took taxis everywhere, so it was a bit more expensive. Overall, I think Zhangjiajie is not bad and worth a visit. Besides, it's so famous, it's worth going once.
If you go with a tour group, you'll visit fewer places.
Actually, Zhangjiajie is also very hot, so wear cool clothes. You can bring long pants; it's still very cold at night.
