Bus:
There are two tourist buses daily from Zhangjiajie directly to Fenghuang. The times are 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM respectively, with a journey of about 4 hours. Alternatively, you can choose to go from Zhangjiajie to Jishou and then from Jishou to Fenghuang. From Zhangjiajie to Jishou, there is a bus every hour starting from 7:30 AM daily (tourist express bus), with the last one at 7:30 PM. From Jishou to Fenghuang, buses depart every half hour starting from 7:00 AM daily, with the last one at 7:30 PM.

External transportation:
1. When coming to Fenghuang from various places, you generally get off the train at Jishou Station. There are minibuses to Fenghuang at the train station square, with air conditioning, 10-12 yuan per person. Buses from Jishou to Fenghuang run from 6 AM to 8 PM, taking about 1 hour.
2. You can also take a taxi from Jishou Railway Station (about 4 yuan) to the South Bus Station and take a scheduled air-conditioned shuttle bus, departing every 20 minutes, 12 yuan per person. The total distance is 52 kilometers, via National Highway 209, with fairly good road conditions.
3. When coming to Fenghuang from various places, you generally get off the train at Tongren Station in Guizhou. At the station opposite the train station square, there are buses to Fenghuang, with air conditioning, at 20 yuan per person. Buses from Tongren to Fenghuang run from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the journey takes about 1.5 hours.
