Zhangjiajie is just a small mountain city. As long as you are in the city area, taking a taxi from the east side to the west side costs 20 yuan, with a starting fare of 3 yuan. Taking the ring bus No. 10 costs 1 yuan per person and can also take you around Zhangjiajie. If you have good stamina and like shopping, walking around the city area is also quite easy!

Maoyan River 35 km, Jiutian Cave 80 km, Tianzi Mountain 102 km; between these scenic spots, most have operating buses, departing every 15 minutes.
After entering the mountain, there are eco-friendly buses between scenic spots, which is very convenient. If you want a more relaxed experience, you can take the mountain cable cars and sedan chairs. The Tianzi Mountain cable car costs 52 yuan per person for both up and down; the Huangshizhai cable car costs 48 yuan per person for both up and down; the Bailong Elevator costs 56 yuan per person for both up and down; you can also take a sedan chair, which is more expensive than the cable car, generally 100 yuan on flat ground and 200 yuan going uphill, and you can negotiate the price down a bit, depending on your bargaining skills.
