It is well known that modern society is under great pressure: the economy is in recession, and jobs are hard to find. The growing pressure of life and the ever-accelerating pace of work bring you tremendous mental stress, leaving you feeling exhausted. Properly adjusting your work and rest schedule, setting aside time for exercise, and traveling regularly are the best ways to relax.
On the internet and on TV, beautiful scenery and stunning landscapes always touch our nerves and stir ripples in our hearts. We often suddenly feel like traveling. Yes, feel like traveling? Come to Zhangjiajie. With three thousand peaks and eight hundred streams of clear water, such a scene will surely bring your heart the most thorough relaxation.
The editor has lived in Zhangjiajie since childhood and has always loved traveling around, so I have a few thoughts of my own about travel. For friends thinking of visiting Zhangjiajie, choosing a route is probably the hardest part, so let me briefly recommend a few here:
One that is quite suitable for office workers and young white-collar professionals: a two-day, one-night tour of Zhangjiajie and Tianzi Mountain.
On the first day, meet the group and head to the scenic area. That day, visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park——Huangshizhai (Liuqi Pavilion, Five Finger Peak, Star-Picking Platform), Golden Whip Stream (Golden Whip Rock, Jumping Fish Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Purple Grass Pool), Water Winding Around Four Gates, and other natural landscapes. Overnight in Wulingyuan.
On the second day, from Water Winding Around Four Gates, take the world's highest outdoor sightseeing elevator up the mountain, view the Gathering of Divine Soldiers, and tour Yuanjiajie——Mihun Platform, the floating mountain from the movie Avatar: the Qiankun Pillar, the Number One Bridge Under Heaven, and other breathtaking sights. Then visit the world's wonder of peak forests——Tianzi Mountain, the Fairy Presenting Flowers, West Sea, Yunqing Rock, Imperial Brush Peak, He Long Park, Warriors Taming Horses, Ten-Mile Gallery, and other natural landscapes, bringing the pleasant journey to an end.
This route is still quite suitable for office workers. Taking advantage of a two-day weekend break, open your heart to feel the charm of Zhangjiajie, breathe in nature to your heart's content, and completely relax body and mind, so that by Monday you can throw yourself fully into work again. Hehe. How nice.
Actually, if you divide them by type, going to the forest park is about experiencing the most primitive nature, while traveling to Fenghuang Ancient Town is about admiring those distinctive buildings and experiencing the local customs and culture.
Below I will recommend another good one: a two-day, one-night tour of Tianmen Mountain, Furong Town, and Fenghuang Ancient Town.
On the first day, meet the group and head to the scenic area. Take the world's longest cableway up to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park (round-trip cableway fee included)——the primitive sky garden, Yunmeng Fairy Summit, Ghost Valley Plank Road, Tianmen Cave Opening, Tongtian Avenue, and other peerless wonders. Then drive to Fenghuang. Along the way, you may visit Furong Town (not a private car; this attraction cannot be toured), and view Xiangxi Tujia and Miao local dwellings from the vehicle to experience the unique customs of Xiangxi. In the evening, you may freely enjoy the night view of Fenghuang Ancient Town. Overnight in Fenghuang Ancient Town.
On the second day, visit Fenghuang Ancient Town——Shen Congwen's Former Residence, Xiong Xiling's Former Residence, Tuo River boat ride, ancient city tower, stilted houses, Rainbow Bridge, Ethnic Street, and other ancient town sights, bringing the pleasant journey to an end.
Hehe, this tour route is also quite good and also suitable for a two-day weekend outing. To be honest, this kind of two-day tour cannot let you fully enjoy Zhangjiajie (in dialect, “wan hao wan gao” means to enjoy it thoroughly). However, it is very suitable for relaxing body and mind and relieving work pressure.
