Zhangjiajie Travel — Finding a Good Local Travel Agency
Q: Who has been to Zhangjiajie? Recommend a good travel agency — best if the price is favorable, the guide is experienced, and the route is reasonable and fun. Thanks~~~
A: Last time we went, we used Zhangjiajie Huatian International Travel Service, though it was arranged by our company. The itinerary was pretty good, and the guide was fine except for having slightly darker skin. The only regret was that there was no rafting. I'll recommend their website for you to take a look:

Q: For a student who has just finished the college entrance exam, can I get free admission with my exam admission ticket or admission letter?
A: Yes, as long as you are a student under 24 years old, you can get free admission. You can bring your admission letter. I'll recommend a Zhangjiajie travel website for you to refer to first:

About travel to Changsha, Shaoguan, Zhangjiajie, and Fenghuang Ancient Town
Q: May I ask what precautions I should take when traveling to these places recently, such as what clothes to bring, and will it be cold on the mountain? Thanks! Very urgent!
A: It should be Changsha, Shaoshan, Zhangjiajie, and Fenghuang Ancient Town. The temperatures in these places are similar, and it is a bit cooler on the mountain, but not cold. Be sure to bring some medicine for heatstroke! Also, be careful not to casually trust people soliciting customers on trains and roads. I'll recommend a travel agency for you to refer to their routes:

Q: I'm planning to travel to Zhangjiajie from May 12 to 17. Is there flooding there, and is it suitable for travel? Urgent, urgent, urgent!!!!!
A: The weather in Zhangjiajie is very good, and it is not very hot in the mountains. Prepare some Huoxiang Zhengqi water and mosquito repellent appropriately, because there are quite a few mosquitoes and insects in the mountains! I hope you have a pleasant time in Zhangjiajie. I'll introduce a website for you to consult:

Which province is Zhangjiajie in? Where is Zhangjiajie? Zhangjiajie Travel
Zhangjiajie City is located in the northwest of Hunan Province, at the junction of the uplifted Guizhou Plateau and the subsided Dongting Lake area.

Zhangjiajie

Zhangjiajie was originally named Dayong and was the location of the ancient Yong State. As early as the late primitive society, ancestors had already begun to live and multiply along the banks of the Lishui River. By the time of Yao and Shun, "Shun exiled Huandou to Chongshan to transform the southern barbarians," and thus the term "southern barbarians" appeared in Chinese history. In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang established commanderies and counties, and the Zhangjiajie area belonged to Cigu County of Qianzhong Commandery, with the county seat at Guantaping in Cili County (now Taiping Village, Jiangjiaping Township). In the sixth year of Yong'an of Emperor Jing of Wu in the Three Kingdoms period (264 AD), Songliang County was named Tianmen Mountain, and Tianmen Commandery was established. Through the Western and Eastern Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties, it belonged to Louzhong and Linli Counties of Tianmen Commandery. In 1369, the Ming Dynasty established Dayong County, and in the thirteenth year of Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty (1735 AD), Yongding County was established.

Zhangjiajie City is located in the northwest of Hunan Province, at the junction of the uplifted Guizhou Plateau and the subsided Dongting Lake area, between longitude 109°40′ to 111°20′ east and latitude 28°52′ to 29°48′ north. It borders Shimen and Taoyuan Counties to the east, Yuanling County to the south, and Hefeng and Xuan'en Counties of Hubei Province to the north. The city's east-west extent is 167 kilometers at its longest, and its north-south extent is 96 kilometers at its widest. The total area of the city is 9,653 square kilometers, accounting for 4.5% of the province's area.

The Zhangjiajie tourism area is located in the northwest of Hunan Province, part of the remaining ranges of the Wuling Mountains in northwestern Hunan, and consists of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxiyu, and Tianzi Mountain, with a total area of 369 square kilometers. There are currently 14 tourist routes and more than 560 scenic spots. Zhangjiajie has a rare sandstone peak forest and valley landform in the world. The overall terrain is centered on Tianzi Mountain in the middle and the high platform of Zhangjiajie, radiating outward in all directions. Rabbit Watching the Moon in Zhangjiajie, at 1,264.5 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in the scenic area. The lowest point is the Suoxiyu Valley, at only 320 meters above sea level. As early as 380 million years ago, this place was originally a vast ocean. After many crustal movements, influenced both by the uplift of the Guizhou Plateau and constrained by the subsidence of the Dongting Lake area, combined with long-term cutting, erosion by surface water, and karst development, this peculiar landform with great differences in height, crisscrossing streams and valleys, and towering stone peaks was formed. Within the area, thousands of grotesque and strange peaks stand concentratedly, steep and towering, with brilliant colors, famous for their "strangeness and danger." Zhangjiajie is said to have "three thousand peaks and eight hundred waters," with 48 large and small streams crisscrossing and abundant water. The largest, the Suoxi, originates from Moziya in Zhangjiajie and flows into the Lishui at Jiangya, with a total length of 68.3 kilometers. Zhangjiajie has a subtropical monsoon humid climate, with distinct four seasons, abundant rainfall, hot summers, and a short cold period. The superior natural conditions here form a unique environment for the production and reproduction of animals and plants. Coupled with relatively little human disturbance and destruction, it has preserved rich species resources and is praised as a "green treasure house" and a natural zoo. Zhangjiajie is also an area where many ethnic groups live together. Eleven ethnic groups, including Han, Tujia, Miao, Yao, and Bai, are distributed in the area in the form of "large mixed settlements and small concentrated settlements," forming a long historical origin, peculiar customs and folkways, moving folk legends, and rich cultural landscapes. Zhangjiajie gathers the great achievements of famous mountains under heaven and integrates the unique charm of "seclusion, wildness, spirit, wonder, and elegance," with mountains, waters, caves, and forests all present. It is praised as "the finest strange mountain under heaven," a "three-dimensional landscape painting," and "an enlarged potted landscape, a reduced fairyland." In 1989, Zhangjiajie was designated by the State Council as a national key scenic and historic area. In December 1992, the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO inscribed it on the World Natural Heritage List. In 1991, the first "China Hunan Zhangjiajie International Forest Protection Festival" was held here, and at the same time the opening ceremony of the '92 China Friendly Tourism Year Strange Mountains and Waters Tour was held. Zhangjiajie has now become an important tourism base in China, attracting countless tourists from home and abroad.
