The wind parts the cicada-wing-thin mist; as the morning sky is adorned with ten thousand li of rosy clouds, accompanied by rumbling thunder, under the guide's leadership we entered the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area with its layered emerald mountains and
charming beauty. The surrounding scenery carried both the serenity of night and the freshness of morning. The autumn wind brushed our faces, and the coolness was saturated with rich sweetness, the fragrance of early-autumn fruit, while faint singing seemed to ripple in our ears! We could hardly wait to climb the over 1,200-meter “Tianzi Mountain.”
We admired the superb scenery along the way: stilted houses built against the mountains, towering steep peaks and cliffs, fantastic pines and grotesque rocks, and vast emerald forests. When the clouds and mist swirl

Day 1: Morning pickup, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: one-day tour of Huangshizhai Scenic Area and Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area
Morning: The guide and driver will meet the group with a sign at Zhangjiajie Airport or railway station. Departing from Zhangjiajie city area, a 40-minute drive brings us to China's first national
-level forest park--Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (the 248 RMB ticket is included, valid for two days). We will visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (8-10 ten-thousand negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air), and climb to 1,200 meters above sea level to the scenic area known as “If you don't go up Huangshizhai, your trip to Zhangjiajie is in vain”--Huangshizhai Scenic Area (you may choose to take the Huangshizhai cableway up and down, 48 RMB per person per trip, or choose to walk) (Huangshizhai was fully closed and sightseeing suspended from November 1, 2009 to May 1, 2010 due to cableway maintenance): a panorama of countless mountains and ravines unfolds before you. Walking along the loop trail around the summit, you can enjoy Huangshizhai's breathtaking natural scenery. Afternoon: Stroll through “China's most beautiful grand canyon”--Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and walking the tour takes about 2.5 hours. Golden Whip Stream is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after the Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream water is clear in all four seasons. It is called a “landscape gallery” and a “fairyland on earth.” Along

You can go up to Tianzi Pavilion, the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, and gaze at the panorama of Tianzi Mountain from afar. Day 3: Yellow Dragon Cave Scenic Area or Baofeng Lake Scenic Area, afternoon group send-off
Morning: Visit Yellow Dragon Cave Scenic Area (the 80 RMB ticket is included), known as the “all-around champion of the world's karst caves”: Yellow Dragon Cave was selected in 2005 as “China's most beautiful tourist cave.” Inside, lights are dim and stalagmites stand in forests, like ancient trees with gnarled roots. There are caves within caves and rivers within caves, with every kind of wonder—truly a veritable “underground magic palace.” The cave also contains famous attractions such as the Sea-Calming Divine Needle stalagmite insured for 100 million yuan, Xiangshui River, Dragon King Assembly Hall, Heavenly Fairy Water, and Tianzhu Street.
Or visit “fairyland on earth”—Baofeng Lake Scenic Area (the 76 RMB ticket is included): Baofeng Lake combines mountains and waters and blends folk customs, and is especially famous for its wonderful high-gorge flat-lake scenery, the Baofeng Waterfall that “flies down three thousand feet,” and the mysterious ancient temple deep in the mountains. You can view vivid attractions such as Baofeng Waterfall, Fairy Looking in the Mirror, Stone Gate Welcoming Guests, Peacock Spreading Its Tail, Golden Toad Holding the Moon, and Divine Turtle Emerging from the Water. Boating on the lake, you can listen to the mountain songs of the young men and women on the water conveying love, and watch egrets fishing in the leisurely emerald waters.
Afternoon: After lunch, drive through the “thousand-year-old ancient battlefield” Baizhang Gorge to exit the scenic area: the gorge is named because it has stone walls nearly a hundred zhang high piercing the clouds, too daunting to look up at. Return to Zhangjiajie city. If the weather is clear, you can also view from the vehicle the towering Tianmen Mountain and Tianmen Cave, the “soul of Wuling.” The group disbands in Zhangjiajie city area, ending the pleasant
