Day 1: The guide will pick you up free of charge at the railway station or airport, then head to the scenic area to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (248 RMB included, valid for two days) and Huangshizhai Scenic Area (Huangshizhai was fully closed and suspended for sightseeing from November 1, 2009 to May 1, 2010 due to cable car maintenance): Liuqi Pavilion, Star-Picking Platform, Five-Finger Peak, Laomowan; Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area: Water Curtain Cave, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Surrounding Four Gates. Overnight in Suoxiyu, Wulingyuan.
Day 2: Visit the world's wonder of peak forests in the forest park — Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area: West Sea, Heaven Platform, Fairy Presenting Flowers, Imperial Brush Peak, He Long Park, Wolong Ridge, Ten-Mile Gallery; en route, visit Baizhang Gorge. Overnight in Suoxiyu, Wulingyuan.

Day 1: Pick-up, one-day tour of Golden Whip Stream and Yuanjiajie
Morning: The guide and driver will meet the group at the airport, station, or hotel with a sign, then take a 40-minute air-conditioned tourist bus to the Forest Park ticket station and enter the scenic area (248 RMB ticket included); hike through the "most beautiful canyon in the world" — Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area. Approaching Golden Whip Stream, everything is green, with murmuring water and birdsong. As you walk, you suddenly feel a coolness and notice a gentle breeze; in the crystal-clear, spotless green water, fish swim happily, and red, green, and white pebbles shine in the water. Sunlight filters through the forest gaps, casting dappled shadows on the water, giving a sense of nature's tranquility and quiet beauty. We will visit famous sights such as Guanyin Presenting a Child, Pig Bajie Carrying His Wife, Divine Eagle Guarding the Whip, Splitting the Mountain to Save the Mother, the filming location of Journey to the West, Longevity Spring, and Meeting After a Thousand Miles.
Afternoon: Optionally take the world's highest sightseeing elevator — Bailong Elevator (optional at 56 RMB/person one way) or climb the Luan Cuan Slope (2 hours) up to Yuanjiajie. Explore the core of the World Natural Heritage: Yuanjiajie's scenery is known for its majesty, wonder, danger, and steepness. The scenic area has stone peaks in a thousand shapes, streams flowing around the peaks; ancient trees tower on the mountain, and mist fills the air — truly a fairyland on earth. Along the more than ten-li mountain-ring road, the scenery is too numerous to count. Dozens of Tujia families live on the mountain, generation after generation among these green mountains and clear waters; they are hardworking and kind, and compete with no one. We will visit the most famous sights such as the Number One Bridge Under Heaven, Nine Heavens Mystic Ladder, Qiankun Pillar, Heart-Linking Bridge, Divine Turtle Asking Heaven, and Soul-Enchanting Platform.

Day 2: Magical World — One-day tour of Yangjiajie and Wulong Village
Early morning: You can watch the sunrise, one of Zhangjiajie's four wonders (requires good weather). Looking out, the sea of clouds rises and falls like mountain ranges, flowing among the peaks; the eastern sky is lightly edged with a beautiful red border. The scenery is very tranquil and peaceful yet full of movement.
Morning: Visit Yangjiajie Scenic Area, the most beautiful place in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. Yangjiajie is not like Zhangjiajie, yet its scenery surpasses Zhangjiajie — elegant, magnificent, precipitous, and majestic... it captivates people and makes them gasp in amazement! We will visit famous sights such as Tianbo Mansion, One Step to Heaven, Sky Corridor, Three Ghost Gate Passes, Yang Family Female Warriors, Echo Wall, Lovers Peak, Five-Finger Mountain, Tianbo Mansion, and Fifth Son Worshipping Buddha, then head to Wulong Village Scenic Area, the most famous bandit lair in greater Xiangxi.
Afternoon: Visit Daguantai Scenic Area, a place that no one has ever visited on regular routes: Tianzi Seat, Immortal Bridge, Divine Chicken Pecking Food, One Step Difficult... These sights are unheard of by most people. After visiting, you will sigh even more: how magical nature's creations are. In the afternoon, watch the sunset in Zhangjiajie, then return to the guesthouse inside the scenic area for accommodation. The air, food, and water on the mountain are free from environmental pollution — a true "green world."

Day 3: One-day tour of Tianzi Mountain and Ten-Mile Gallery
Morning: Drive to the world's wonder of peak forests — Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area (optionally take the cable car one way at 52 RMB/person per ride down Tianzi Mountain). At Tianzi Mountain, you can look down upon the vast world and feel the boundless pride of "among mountains, I alone am supreme." Tianzi Mountain has four great wonders: peak forests, sea of clouds, sunrise, and winter snow. The majestic, spectacular, strange, and enchanting scenes will surely feast everyone's eyes and make them linger. We will visit famous sights such as Tianzi Pavilion, West Sea Stone Forest, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, He Long Park, Stone Boat Setting Out to Sea, Herb-Gathering Old Man, and He Long Bronze Statue.
Afternoon: "Ten miles of gallery, ten miles of scenery; ten miles of charm await your visit." After descending the mountain, visit the exquisitely crafted Ten-Mile Gallery (choose walking or the sightseeing mini-train at 23 RMB/person one way, 33 RMB/person round trip). Ten-Mile Gallery has clear mountains and waters, blooming flowers, and birds singing. The scenery within has peculiar shapes: quartz sandstone peak forests resembling people, gods, immortals, forests, birds, and beasts appear and disappear in the mist, ever-changing! We will admire sights such as Heaven Platform, Three Sisters Peak, Xiang Wang Reading, Longevity Star Welcoming Guests, Herb-Gathering Old Man, Golden Rat Watching the Sky, and Fierce Tiger Roaring at the Sky; take the eco-bus to the Wulingyuan ticket station, exit the scenic area, and check into the hotel.

Day 4: One-day tour of Tianmen Mountain; in the afternoon, head to Fenghuang Ancient Town and see the night view of Fenghuang
Morning: Drive to the lower station of the Tianmen Mountain cableway and visit Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Tianmen Mountain has profound cultural heritage, is known as the "soul of Wuling," and has the reputation of being the number one sacred mountain of Xiangxi. It combines peaks, rocks, springs, streams, clouds, and forests in one, and gathers majesty, wonder, beauty, danger, and seclusion in one; it is praised as an aerial primeval garden. We will take the Tianmen Mountain cableway to visit Tianmen Mountain: see Tianmen Cave, the 99-bend road wonder (Tongtian Avenue), Li Na Villa, Ghost Valley Plank Road, Ghost Valley Military Formation, Yunmeng Fairy Summit, Tianmen Mountain Temple, Lingquan Courtyard, Wood and Stone Love, and other famous sights.
Tianmen Cableway: The cableway line has an inclined length of 7,455 meters, with a horizontal height difference of 1,279 meters between the upper and lower stations. It is the world's longest single-line circulating detachable grip cabin-type cableway, like a rainbow flying between the "human world" and "heaven," and also like a giant dragon soaring in the white clouds and sky, clinging to the mountain and rising to the sky, soul-stirring and magnificent. It has become one of the "four great wonders" of Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area.
Tongtian Avenue: The winding mountain road known as Tongtian Avenue has a total of 99 bends, like a jade belt encircling, bend after bend closely connected, layer upon layer rising, clinging to the mountain and wall, rushing straight into the clouds. The "number one road wonder under heaven" was born, and from the cableway, the road looks like a dense spider web, with a vertical height difference of about one thousand meters.
Tianmen Cave Opening: 131.5 meters high and more than 50 meters wide, opening north-south on a thousand-fathom white cliff. It is majestic and towering, a rare high-altitude mountain-piercing karst cave, and even more a peerless wonder fully displaying nature's magic. The 2006 Russian Air Force Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain aerobatic performance escalated the mystery of Tianmen Cave and once again made it a global focus.
Ghost Valley Plank Road: Beneath your feet is boundless green wilderness, groups of small birds play in the canyon, and occasionally an eagle sweeps past your eyes. Close your eyes, straighten your numb legs, with a racing heartbeat, open your arms, and you can get the most perfect, exciting, and nature-close SPA. After all, you should know that enjoying scenery on a cliff is generally something not every human can experience.
Afternoon: Take the cableway down the mountain, then return to Zhangjiajie city, and drive about 4 hours to Fenghuang Ancient Town.
Night tour of Fenghuang: The night view of Fenghuang Ancient Town is enchanting. Stroll through the ancient town and feel its tranquility and peace under the night; release river lanterns by the Tuo River to pray for family and friends; visit the bars of Fenghuang Ancient Town and experience the lively yet romantic atmosphere; of course, what you will remember most is walking with friends along the small flagstone streets in Ming-Qing style, feeling the simplicity of Shen Congwen's "Border Town," looking at the rich variety of handicrafts, and tasting the mouth-watering local snacks — it will make you linger even more...

Day 5: One-day tour of Fenghuang Ancient Town
Morning: Then we will visit the Former Residence of the great writer Shen Congwen, the Former Residence of Xiong Xiling — the first cabinet premier of the Republic of China, the Yang Family Ancestral Hall — one of the twenty-four ancestral halls, the ancient East Gate Tower, the North Gate Jumping Rocks where thousands of troops once passed, take a leisurely wooden boat to enjoy the intoxicating scenery of the Tuo River, the stilted house clusters with red lanterns hanging high, and the Duocui Tower — Huang Yongyu's studio — hidden among green mountains and clear waters. The Ten-Thousand-Person Pagoda stands by the river; walking along the ancient, long bluestone street, you will see all kinds of silverware, mouth-watering snacks, local specialties whose names you cannot pronounce, and the astonishing paper-cutting of Miao elderly women... (The sights included in the 148 RMB Fenghuang Ancient Town ticket are: Former Residence of Shen Congwen, Yang Family Ancestral Hall, East Gate Tower, Former Residence of Xiong Xiling, Tuo River Boat Ride, Hong Bridge Art Tower, Wanshou Palace, Chongde Hall, and Ancient Town Museum.
