I have always loved researching travel routes in my spare time, and now I'd like to recommend some scenic spot travel routes:
If you're on a self-driving tour, you can first drive to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park scenic area, or take a bus from the city to the Forest Park ticket station. After entering the scenic area, the first route is Golden Whip Stream, which is 7.5 kilometers long. It's a must-walk route, and travel agencies do the same, so it's a relatively crowded route. Along the stream, the scenic spots you'll see are: Mother and Child Peak → Pig Bajie Carries His Wife → Divine Eagle Guards the Whip → Golden Whip Rock → Drunken Arhat → Master and Disciples Seek Scriptures → Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother → Candle Peak → Longevity Spring → Scholar's Book Collection → Wenxing Rock → Two Turtles Explore the Stream → Purple Grass Pool → Meeting After a Thousand Miles. After reaching Meeting After a Thousand Miles, depending on your energy at the time, you can choose to continue forward for two hours and take the Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, or directly climb the mountain for one hour to reach the summit (Yuanjiajie) for lunch... rest. Continuing forward is the Back Garden. The Back Garden is a place that travel agencies don't visit and the scenery is charming, and you've already avoided the crowds. Then keep hiking and sightseeing to Mihun Platform → Number One Bridge Under Heaven, and other scenic spots... After seeing them all, you'll reach the parking lot at Number One Bridge Under Heaven, take the eco-friendly bus to Wulong Village parking lot. After visiting these spots, the first day's itinerary is almost over. Take the bus back to the city to rest.
After arriving in the city, you can walk around the streets, eat at the night market~ and then the next day you'll be full of energy to continue playing.
On the second day, after breakfast, take the eco-friendly bus to Daguan Platform! View the panorama of Tianzi Mountain, Tianzi Peak, then go to Immortal Bridge, One Step Difficult to Walk, Divine Chicken Pecking Food, Tianzi Seat, then return the same way to Wulong Village parking lot for lunch, then go to Wulong Village. (Along the way, the scenic spots include Golden Rooster Crows at Dawn, Three Passes, Pass 1: One Step Difficult to Walk, Pass 2: Who Dares Not Bow, Pass 3: One-Line Sky. At Wulong Village, the scenic spot to see is Tianbo Mansion, which offers a panoramic view of Tianzi Mountain. Then return to where we're staying for dinner.
On the third day, after breakfast in the morning, take the eco-friendly bus to Shentang Bend, see Shentang Bend, Point General Platform, then go to Helong Park, see Fairy Scattering Flowers, Tianzi Pavilion. Then go down the mountain to see Imperial Brush Peak, and after seeing Ten-Mile Gallery, take the bus out of Wulingyuan ticket station. If you're not in a hurry for your bus, you can look around Wulingyuan for a while, then take the bus back to the city.......
Basically, three days is enough to visit these classic Zhangjiajie scenic spots. If you have more time, you can ask your guide appropriately and go play in other places for a while.
