Mengdong River Scenic Area, a rafting resort in Xiangxi, and Furong Town, round trip from Zhangjiajie. In one day, you can enjoy both the stunning scenery and the Tujia folk customs.

Day 1
Full day:
At 07:30, pick up from hotel in Zhangjiajie city area, and take the rafting special bus to the "No.1 Rafting under Heaven"—Mengdong River Rafting (￥162 ticket included). Mengdong River Rafting is praised by the famous sociologist Mr. Fei Xiaotong as the "No.1 Rafting under Heaven", and was also rated by China Travel Service Head Office as one of only two four-star rafting projects in China. The starting point Hani Palace is about 40 kilometers from Wangcun, a 1-hour drive. The ending point Niulu River is a 30-minute drive from Wangcun. The rafting waterway is 17 kilometers long, and the rafting takes two and a half hours.
Starting from Hani Palace: Set the boat down, go with the flow. A small boat, in the high mountain canyon of the primitive secondary forest, wearing a life jacket, riding a rubber boat, braving dangerous shoals, fighting rapids, enjoying the scenery along the way, bathing in waterfalls, playing water fights, passing through canyon passes, appearing and disappearing at the bottom of the waves. Passing through Triangle Rock, Chicken Coop Gate, Nitu Waterfall, Yama Shoal, Luoshui Pit Waterfall, Mengsi Gorge... dozens of attractions. Along the way are ancient river channels, hundred-mile cliffs, jagged rocks, strange shoals and different waters, green trees on both banks, misty clouds, flying waterfalls and springs complementing karst peak forests. Turning 155 bends, shuttling through 133 shoals and pools, winding and lingering, soul-stirring, and relaxing. Endless and beautiful. You can sing loudly, or fight the waves and brave the shoals, or play in the water, and find your long-lost self. Then board the bus at the rafting end point and go together to the thousand-year-old town—Furong Town (also known as Wangcun, ￥80/person ticket included): ancient town stone street, chastity archway, Wangcun Waterfall, taste Liu Xiaoqing's rice tofu.
Afternoon: Take a 2-hour bus ride to send guests back to Zhangjiajie city (arrive around 17:30), ending the pleasant journey!.
✅ Inclusions
1. Tickets: Includes tickets for the attractions listed in the above itinerary;
2. Tour guide: Includes the attentive service fee of an excellent nationally certified tour guide throughout the trip;
3. Transportation: For individual traveler group tours, vehicles with 9-33 seats will be arranged according to the number of people in the group on that day, ensuring new air-conditioned tourist vehicles. Vehicle use range: within the travel itinerary;

❌ Exclusions
1. Meals for individual travelers: The cost for a group of individual travelers does not include meals. Tourists can choose by themselves:
A. Order meals separately. Tourists can decide freely according to personal preferences and choose local specialties à la carte;
B. The travel agency or tour guide can recommend and arrange package meals, standard at ￥36/person per day (10 people per table), including breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
2. Scenic area cableways: Fees for cable cars, cableways, sightseeing trains, elevators, and other transportation tools within the scenic area;
3. Major transportation: Does not include air tickets, train tickets, and other major transportation costs to and from Zhangjiajie from the tourist's location;
4. Other expenses: Personal consumption, optional items, and additional expenses caused by force majeure factors, etc.;
Note: Scenic area hotels have combined consumption; no refund for unused meals. If scenic spot tickets cannot be visited due to force majeure factors, or if discount tickets are generated with discount certificates, only the difference after the discount settlement price will be refunded.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ticket discount and free ticket policy:
1. Tourists holding new version press cards, active military officer certificates, military disability certificates, civilian cadre certificates, student certificates, police officer certificates (armed police), soldier certificates, retired military officer certificates, and children under 1.2 meters can pass directly through special channels with valid certificates;
2. Elderly people over 70 years old can purchase a ￥68 eco-friendly bus ticket with ID card;
3. Elderly people aged 60-69 can purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with ID card (must be full age);
4. Students over 1.2 meters and under 24 years old can purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with student ID and ID card;
5. Children over 1.2 meters and under 1.5 meters can directly purchase a ￥163 discount ticket.
6. Persons holding first- and second-level disability certificates issued by the Disabled Persons' Federation can purchase a ￥68 eco-friendly bus ticket; please verify the certificates and number of people before purchasing tickets, and show certificates when purchasing tickets.
