🧭 Itinerary
D1
Pick up guests, one-day tour of Mount Heng;
In the morning, take a bus from Changsha to the Nanyue Scenic Area. Visit Bali Ping Nanyue Incense Shop (40 minutes), then tour the Nanyue Grand Temple (60 minutes). Take a minibus directly to Nantianmen, visit Zhurong Peak (including Zhurong Temple, 90-100 minutes), the Martyrs' Shrine (20 minutes), and the Longevity Tripod (40-50 minutes). Return to Changsha, ending the pleasant journey.

Pick up the group in Changsha, take the expressway to Zhangjiajie, visit Baofeng Lake or Yellow Dragon Cave;
At 8:00 AM, gather at Changsha Railway Station Square. Board a 33-, 39-, or 45-seat tour bus. At 8:30, take the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway to China's first national park—Zhangjiajie. Arrive at noon, have lunch, then pass through Baizhang Gorge, the gateway to Wulingyuan, and visit the Baofeng Lake Scenic Area, known as 'a jade pool on earth.' Admire lifelike sights such as Baofeng Waterfall, Fairy Looking in the Mirror, Stone Gate Welcoming Guests, Peacock Spreading Its Tail, Golden Toad Holding the Moon, and Divine Turtle Emerging from Water. Boat on the lake, listen to local boys and girls singing mountain songs, and watch egrets fishing in the tranquil green waters. Alternatively, visit the underground dragon palace—Yellow Dragon Cave (about 2.5 hours), with famous sights including Dragon Dance Hall, Xiangshui River, Heavenly Fairy Water, Tianzhu Street, Dragon Palace, and the Maze. Exit the scenic area and check into the hotel.

In the morning, take a bus to the world's wonder of peak forests—Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area (you may choose to take the cable car one way at ￥52 per person per ride or hike up Tianzi Mountain). Visit Tianzi Pavilion, West Sea Stone Forest, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, He Long Park, Stone Boat Sailing Out to Sea, Herb-Gathering Old Man, and the Bronze Statue of He Long.
In the afternoon, walk down Tianzi Mountain via Wolong Ridge to Ten-Mile Gallery. After descending, tour the exquisitely crafted Ten-Mile Gallery (you may choose to walk or take the sightseeing train one way at ￥23 per person per ride, round trip at ￥33 per person per ride). At noon, visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (with 80,000-100,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter), then climb to Zhangjiajie's largest cliff-top viewing platform at 1,200 meters above sea level—Huangshizhai Scenic Area (you may choose to take the cable car one way at ￥48 per person per ride, round trip at ￥92 per person per ride, or walk). Take in the panoramic views of countless mountains and valleys.
