Day 1: Pick-up, one-day tour of Fenghuang Ancient Town
Morning: Pick-up at Zhangjiajie station, then transfer by private tour vehicle to the most beautiful small town -- Fenghuang Ancient Town, about a four-hour drive. Lunch in the ancient town.
Afternoon: We then visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, a literary giant of his generation; the former residence of Xiong Xiling, the first cabinet premier of the Republic of China; the Yang Family Ancestral Hall, one of the twenty-four ancestral halls; the ancient East Gate Tower; the North Gate Jumping Rocks, once a passage for thousands of soldiers; take a leisurely wooden boat to enjoy the intoxicating scenery of the Tuo River; the stilted houses with red lanterns hung high; the Rainbow Bridge; and the Cui Cui Tower -- Huang Yongyu's studio -- hidden among green mountains and clear waters. Standing by the river is the Ten Thousand Names Pagoda. Walking along the ancient, long bluestone street, you will see all kinds of silverware, mouth-watering snacks, local specialties whose names you cannot pronounce, and the astonishing paper-cutting of Miao grandmothers... 1. Tickets: Includes admission tickets to the attractions listed in the itinerary;
2. Accommodation: Includes one standard twin room for two people per night at the hotel; if a single room supplement occurs, the room fee must be paid additionally;
Due to the need to visit famous attractions such as Yangjiajie, our itinerary includes 1 night of accommodation in a mountain inn (clean, safe, and hygienic)
3. Guide: Includes the considerate service fee of an excellent nationally certified guide;
4. Insurance: Includes travel agency liability insurance and scenic area accident insurance; for private groups, personal accident insurance can be provided as a gift;
5. Transportation: Includes 7-55 seat tour vehicles (vehicle type depends on the number of people in the group that day); service period: from pick-up to drop-off; service scope: within the tour itinerary.
II. Explanation of costs not included in the quotation:
1. Tour meals: Except where "meals included" is specifically noted, all others [do not include meals]. Solutions:
A. Order meals separately; tourists may decide freely according to personal preference and freely choose dishes with local flavors;
B. Choose group meals provided by our agency: standard is 40 yuan per person per day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
2. Scenic area cableways: Fees for cable cars, cableways, sightseeing trains, elevators, and other transportation tools within the scenic area;
3. Major transportation: Does not include air tickets, train tickets, and other major transportation costs from the tourist's location to and from Zhangjiajie;
4. Other costs: Personal consumption and additional costs arising from force majeure, etc.
III. Warm travel tips:
1. Ticket booking: Our agency can book round-trip air tickets and train tickets for tourists;
2. Additional attractions: This route can add other attractions according to tourists' needs, with costs calculated separately;
3. Discount policy: Tourists who meet the following preferential policies, such as: seniors over 60 years old, active-duty military personnel, children under 1.2 m, students, journalists, etc. Please inform our customer service in advance.
Note: Scenic area hotels use package consumption; no refund for unused meals. If attractions cannot be visited due to force majeure, or if discounted tickets are generated with preferential certificates, only the difference after the discounted settlement price will be refunded.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ticket discount and free admission policy:
1. Tourists holding the new version of press card, active-duty officer card, military disability card, civilian cadre card, student card, police officer card (armed police), soldier card, or retired officer card, and children under 1.2 m, may pass directly through the special channel with valid documents;
2. Seniors over 70 years old may purchase a 68 yuan eco-bus ticket with their ID card;
3. Seniors aged 60-69 may purchase a 163 yuan discounted ticket with their ID card (must be full age);
4. Students over 1.2 m and under 24 years old may purchase a 163 yuan discounted ticket with their student ID and ID card;
5. Children over 1.2 m and under 1.5 m may directly purchase a 163 yuan discounted ticket.
6. Those holding first- or second-class disability certificates issued by the Disabled Persons' Federation may purchase a 68 yuan eco-bus ticket; please verify documents and number of people before purchasing tickets, and present documents when purchasing.
However, the final implementation shall be subject to the specific rules of the ticket station.
