Morning: The guide and driver will meet your group at Zhangjiajie Airport or Railway Station with a name board. Departing from Zhangjiajie city, a 40-minute drive brings us to China's first national forest park -- Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (the ￥248 ticket is included, valid for two days). We will visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (with 80,000-100,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air), then climb to an altitude of 1,200 meters at the renowned Huangshizhai Scenic Area, famous for the saying "If you don't go up Huangshizhai, your trip to Zhangjiajie is in vain" (you may choose to take the Huangshizhai cableway up and down at ￥50 per person per trip, or walk): a panorama of countless peaks and valleys unfolds before your eyes. Walking along the circular trail at the top of the village, you can enjoy the stunning natural scenery of Huangshizhai, passing sights such as Liuqi Pavilion, Star-Picking Terrace, Two Gates Welcoming Guests, Five-Finger Peak, Sea of Mist Golden Turtle, Natural Fresco, Huangshizhai Pine, Echo Wall, and Nine-Fold Wall. Afternoon: Stroll along the "most beautiful grand canyon in China" -- Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and the walk takes about 2.5 hours. It is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after the Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is crystal clear in all four seasons, known as a "gallery of landscapes" and "fairyland on earth." Along the way, you will see famous sights such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Guarding the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Presenting a Child, Master and Disciples Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar's Book Collection. At the end of Golden Whip Stream, exit at Water Winding Around Four Gates, take the eco-bus for 25 minutes to the Suoxiyu ticket station, arrive at the hotel, and end the pleasant day's tour! Morning: Depart from the hotel to the Suoxiyu ticket station to enter the scenic area. You may take the world's No. 1 elevator -- Bailong Elevator (￥56 per person) to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area: Yuanjiajie is the core landscape and boutique tour route of Zhangjiajie. Its scenery is known for being majestic, peculiar, precipitous, and steep. Along the more than ten-li mountain-ringing trail, the scenery is countless, including: the prototype of the "Hallelujah Mountain" in the movie Avatar -- "Qiankun Pillar," the natural stone bridge with the highest drop discovered so far -- the World's No. 1 Bridge, Jiutian Xuanti, Bagua Diagram, Ape Watching the Moon, Worshipping Immortals Terrace, and other sights. Afternoon: Take the eco-bus for 40 minutes to reach Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, known as the "King of Peak Forests": "If one knows the face of Tianzi, no other mountains are worth seeing after returning." This shows the charming and beautiful scenery of Tianzi Mountain with many attractions. Visit Helong Park, which combines nature and culture, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, West Sea Stone Forest, Stone Boat Sailing Out, and more. You can go up to Tianzi Pavilion, the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, and look far into the panorama of Tianzi Mountain. Walk down the mountain for 2 hours (or take the Tianzi Mountain cableway down at ￥52 per person) to reach the Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area, where you can see: one of Zhangjiajie's ten great wonders, the Herb-Collecting Old Man, Three Sisters Peak, Twilight Love, Golden Rooster Crowing at Dawn, Couple Holding Child, Heavenly Dog Watching the Moon, and other sights (you may take the sightseeing mini-train for the whole route at ￥30 per person). Morning: Visit the "Jade Lake on Earth" -- Baofeng Lake Scenic Area (the ￥76 ticket is included): Baofeng Lake combines mountains and water in one, blending folk customs. It is especially famous for the exquisite high-gorge flat-lake scenery, the Baofeng Waterfall that "flies down three thousand feet," and the mysterious ancient temple deep in the mountains. Enjoy lifelike sights such as Baofeng Waterfall, Fairy Looking in the Mirror, Stone Gate Welcoming Guests, Peacock Spreading Its Tail, Golden Toad Holding the Moon, and Divine Turtle Emerging from Water. Boating on the lake, you can listen to the mountain songs of the local young men and women expressing love, and see egrets fishing in the emerald water. Or visit the Yellow Dragon Cave Scenic Area, known as the "all-around champion of world karst caves" (the ￥80 ticket is included): Yellow Dragon Cave was selected as "China's Most Beautiful Tourist Cave" in 2005. Inside, lights are dim and stalagmites stand in forests, like ancient trees with twisted roots. There are caves within caves and rivers within caves, full of wonders -- truly a veritable "underground magic palace." The cave also features the 100-million-yuan-insured stalagmite Dinghai Shenzhen, Xiangshui River, Dragon King Assembly Hall, Heavenly Fairy Water, Tianzhu Street, and other famous sights. Afternoon: After lunch, drive through the "ancient battlefield of a thousand years" Baizhang Gorge to exit the scenic area: the gorge is named because it has a stone wall nearly a hundred zhang high piercing the sky, too tall to look up at. Return to Zhangjiajie city. If the weather is clear, you can also see the majestic Tianmen Mountain and Tianmen Cave, the "soul of Wuling," from the bus. Around 17:00 Depart by bus via Jishou to Fenghuang Ancient Town (about 4 hours): Fenghuang Ancient Town is a national historical and cultural city, once praised by the famous New Zealand writer Rewi Alley as China's most beautiful small town. Enjoy the scenery of Xiangxi along the way and experience the customs of ethnic minorities. At night, view the night scenery of the Tuo River. When the lights of thousands of homes along both banks of the Tuo River are lit one after another, everywhere is dazzling, placing you in a scene of golden splendor. Step into a bar in Fenghuang Ancient Town and experience its noisy yet romantic atmosphere. You can also choose a lotus lantern to make your best wish and put them together into the long Tuo River... Morning: Visit the Nine Scenes of Fenghuang Ancient Town (the ￥148 ticket is included): Fenghuang Ancient Town is beautiful, with a long history and many historical sites. Inside the town, ancient city towers and Ming and Qing dynasty courtyards still retain their charm, and the ancient and simple Tuo River flows quietly. Here you can visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and father of local literature; the former residence of Xiong Xiling, Premier of the Republic of China; the East Gate Tower, one of the four great city gates of Fenghuang; the Ancient Town Museum; the Yang Family Ancestral Hall; Chongde Hall; the elegant and antique Hongqiao Art Building; the Wanshou Palace, praised as "a grand view of architectural art gathering palaces and towers"; and listen to the distinctive mountain songs of Miao girls while boating on the clear and green Tuo River, passing by century-old Tujia stilted houses on both banks. In addition, in your spare time, you can walk on the "jumping rocks" of the Tuo River and the small stone-slab streets in Ming and Qing style, then follow the scent of ginger candy to stroll along the Folk Custom Street. You will find shops along the street full of Tujia silver jewelry, Xilankapu, bamboo ware, and other handicrafts. Taste the local specialty snacks, which will whet your appetite and be unforgettable, letting you experience a truly leisurely trip to Fenghuang Ancient Town! Afternoon: Depart from Fenghuang Ancient Town and drive 1 hour to Jishou Railway Station to see off the group, ending the pleasant Xiangxi tour!
