This route is the first choice for visitors arriving in Zhangjiajie around noon, first visiting Fenghuang Ancient Town and then returning to Zhangjiajie. Pickup in Zhangjiajie in the morning, depart for Fenghuang Ancient Town in the afternoon
Morning:
The guide or driver will meet your group at Zhangjiajie Airport or Railway Station with a name board.
Afternoon:
At around 15:00, take a bus to Fenghuang (provincial road + expressway, 4 hours). Free time will be arranged en route, no more than 50 minutes (because the drive is long and the distance is far, this time is for visitors to rest). Dinner will feature a Xiangxi Long Table Banquet. After arriving in Fenghuang, guests may explore the Fenghuang night view on their own and stroll along the beautiful Tuojiang River. With lights on both banks, the ancient town is quiet yet dazzling, making people linger.
At night, view the Tuojiang River night scenery. When thousands of lights on both banks of the Tuojiang River are lit one after another, everywhere is dazzling, placing you in a splendid scene. Enter a bar in Fenghuang Ancient Town and experience the noisy yet romantic atmosphere. You may also choose a lotus lantern, make your best wish, and put them together into this long Tuojiang River...

Morning:
Visit the Nine Scenic Spots of Fenghuang Ancient Town (included in the 148 RMB ticket): Fenghuang Ancient Town is picturesque with a long history and numerous historical sites. Inside the town, ancient city towers and Ming and Qing dynasty courtyards still retain their charm, and the ancient and simple Tuo River flows quietly. Here, you can visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the father of local literature, the former residence of Xiong Xiling, the first cabinet premier of the Republic of China, the East Gate Tower, one of the four major gates of Fenghuang, the Ancient Town Museum, the Yang Family Ancestral Hall, Chongde Hall, the elegant and antique Hongqiao Art Building, the Wanshou Palace, which is praised as "a grand showcase of architectural art with palaces and towers," and listen to the unique folk songs of Miao girls while boating on the clear and green Tuo River, visiting the century-old Tujia stilted houses on both banks along the way.
In addition, in your spare time, you can walk on the "jumping rocks" of the Tuo River and the small stone-slab streets in Ming and Qing style, then follow the scent of ginger candy to stroll along the Folk Custom Street. You will find Tujia silver ornaments, Xilankapu (Tujia brocade), bamboo wares, and other handicrafts in the small shops along the street, and taste local specialty snacks that will whet your appetite and be unforgettable, allowing you to experience a truly leisurely trip to Fenghuang Ancient Town! Afterwards, take a bus back to Zhangjiajie.

At around 18:00, arrive in Zhangjiajie city, transfer to the hotel for rest, and guests can visit freely.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: One-day tour of Huangshizhai Scenic Area and Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area
Morning:
Depart from Zhangjiajie city area and drive for 40 minutes to China's first national forest park—Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (248 RMB ticket included). Visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (with 80,000-100,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air), and climb to an altitude of 1,200 meters at Huangshizhai Scenic Area, known as "If you don't visit Huangshizhai, you've wasted your trip to Zhangjiajie" (you may choose to take the Huangshizhai cableway up and down the mountain, 65 RMB per person per trip not included, or choose to walk): a panoramic view of countless mountains and valleys unfolds before you. Walking along the loop trail at the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the stunning natural scenery of Huangshizhai, with attractions along the way such as Liuqi Pavilion, Star-Picking Platform, Two Gates Welcoming Guests, Five-Finger Peak, Sea of Clouds and Golden Turtle, Natural Fresco, Huangshi Pine, Echo Wall, and Nine-Fold Wall.
Afternoon:
Stroll along "China's most beautiful grand canyon"—Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and walking takes about 2.5 hours. Golden Whip Stream is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after the Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is clear in all four seasons, known as a "landscape gallery" and "fairyland on earth." Along the way, visit famous attractions such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Protecting the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Delivering a Child, Master and Disciples Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar's Book Collection. At the end of Golden Whip Stream, exit at Water Winding Around Four Gates, take the eco-friendly bus for 25 minutes to reach the Suoxiyu ticket station, arrive at the hotel, and end the pleasant day's trip!

Morning:
Depart from the hotel to the Suoxiyu ticket station to enter the scenic area, take the world's No. 1 elevator—Bailong Elevator (upward 72 RMB per person not included, need to queue and purchase by yourself) to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (sightseeing time about 2 hours): Yuanjiajie is the core landscape and boutique tour route of Zhangjiajie. The scenery of Yuanjiajie is famous for its majesty, wonder, danger, and steepness. Along the more than ten-li mountain loop trail, the scenery is countless. Among them, you can see: the prototype of "Hallelujah Mountain" in the movie Avatar—"Qiankun Pillar," the natural stone bridge with the highest drop discovered so far—the World's No. 1 Bridge, Jiutian Mysterious Ladder, Bagua Diagram, Ape Man Gazing at the Moon, Worshipping Immortals Platform, and other attractions.
Afternoon:
Take the eco-friendly bus for 40 minutes to reach Tianzi Mountain Nature Scenic Area, known as the "King of Peak Forests" (sightseeing time about 1 hour): "Who can recognize the face of Tianzi? After returning, no longer look at other mountains." This shows that Tianzi Mountain has beautiful scenery and many attractions. Visit Helong Park, which combines nature and culture, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, West Sea Stone Forest, Stone Boat Sailing Out, etc. You can climb to the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, Tianzi Pavilion, and overlook the panoramic view of Tianzi Mountain. Walk down the mountain for 2 hours to reach the foot of the mountain, transfer to the eco-friendly bus to Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area, where you can visit: one of Zhangjiajie's top ten wonders, the Herb-Collecting Old Man, Three Sisters Peak, Twilight Love, Golden Rooster Crowing at Dawn, Couple Embracing Child, Heavenly Dog Gazing at the Moon, and other attractions.

1. Meals for individual travelers: The group tour fee for individual travelers does not include meals. Visitors may choose on their own:
A. Dine separately. Visitors may decide independently according to personal preference and freely choose local specialties and order dishes;
B. Have the travel agency or guide recommend and arrange package meals, standard ￥48/person per day (10 people/table), including breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
2. Scenic-area cableways: Fees for cable cars, cableways, sightseeing mini-trains, elevators, and other transportation tools within the scenic areas;
3. Major transportation: Does not include major transportation costs such as air tickets and train tickets to and from Zhangjiajie from the visitor’s location;
4. Other expenses: Personal consumption, optional items, and additional expenses caused by force majeure factors, etc.;
Note: Scenic-area hotels use combined consumption; meals are not refunded if not used. If attractions cannot be visited due to force majeure factors, or if discount tickets are generated with discount certificates, only the price difference after the discounted settlement price will be refunded.

Discount and free-ticket policy for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park scenic-area tickets:
1. Visitors holding new-version press cards, active-duty officer certificates, military disability certificates, civilian cadre certificates, student certificates, police officer certificates (armed police), soldier certificates, or retired officer certificates, and children under 1.2 meters, may pass directly through the special channel with valid certificates;
2. Seniors aged 70 and above may purchase a ￥68 shuttle bus ticket with their ID card;
3. Seniors aged 60–69 may purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with their ID card (must be full age);
4. Students over 1.2 meters and under 24 years old may purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with their student ID and ID card;
5. Children over 1.2 meters and under 1.5 meters may directly purchase a ￥163 discount ticket.
6. Holders of first- or second-class disability certificates issued by the Disabled Persons’ Federation may purchase a ￥68 shuttle bus ticket; please verify certificates and number of people before purchasing tickets, and present certificates when purchasing tickets.
