Meet the group in Changsha, then head to Zhangjiajie Jiangya Hot Spring or Wanfu Hot Spring in the afternoon
At 8:00 a.m., board the tour bus; at 8:30, take the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway to Zhangjiajie, China's first national park.
Arrive at noon. After lunch, visit Jiangya Hot Spring, the only antique-style semi-open-air hot spring in Xiangxi and Zhangjiajie's premier hot spring resort. It features more than 20 distinctive, high-standard outdoor and indoor hot spring pools with various health benefits. With a natural garden-style layout, cobblestone and bluestone paths, rockeries and waterfalls, and small bridges over flowing water, the hot spring pools are like pearls set within the landscape—a tranquil, peaceful mountain fairyland with a strong rustic charm. The spring water is clear and emerald, and the outlet temperature remains around 54°C year-round. Visit the "World Wonder of Peak Forests"—Tianzi Mountain and Ten-Mile Gallery
In the morning, drive to the World Wonder of Peak Forests—Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area (you may choose to take the cableway one way at ￥52/person per ride or walk up Tianzi Mountain). Visit attractions such as Tianzi Pavilion, West Sea Stone Forest, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, He Long Park, Stone Boat Sailing Out to Sea, Herb-Gathering Old Man, and the Bronze Statue of He Long. (You may optionally pay ￥148 to take the Bailong Elevator to visit Yuanjia Village, Yuanjiajie, and other sites.)
Then walk down Tianzi Mountain via Wolong Ridge to reach Ten-Mile Gallery and tour the exquisitely crafted Ten-Mile Gallery (you may choose to walk or take the sightseeing mini-train one way at ￥23/person per ride, round trip at ￥33/person per ride). Golden Whip Stream and Huangshizhai in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
In the morning, stroll through China's most beautiful grand canyon—Golden Whip Stream. The walk takes about 2.5 hours and covers 7.5 km. Along the way, visit famous attractions such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Guarding the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Presenting a Child, Master and Disciples Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar Storing Books.
At noon, visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (with 80,000-100,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air), then climb to Zhangjiajie's largest cliff-top viewing platform at an altitude of 1,200 meters—Huangshizhai Scenic Area (you may choose to take the cableway one way at ￥48/person per ride, round trip at ￥92/person per ride, or walk).
