Depart from Changsha in the morning, travel to Zhangjiajie, and visit Baofeng Lake or Yellow Dragon Cave
Morning:
The guide and driver will meet guests at 8:00 AM at Changsha Railway Station Square. We will use a 33-, 37-, or 45-seat coach and travel to beautiful Zhangjiajie via the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway, enjoying the scenery of the Three Xiang and Four Rivers along the way. We will arrive in Zhangjiajie at noon.
Afternoon:
Visit the "Sacred Lake in the Sky"—Baofeng Lake Scenic Area (￥96 admission included): Baofeng Lake combines mountains and water with folk customs. It is especially famous for the spectacular high-gorge lake, the Baofeng Waterfall that "plunges three thousand feet," and the mysterious ancient temple deep in the mountains. We will go to see lifelike sights such as Baofeng Waterfall, Fairy Mirror, Stone Gate Welcoming Guests, Peacock Displaying Its Tail, Golden Toad Holding the Moon, and Divine Turtle Emerging from the Water. Boating on the lake, you can listen to the antiphonal folk songs of the local young men and women on the water, and watch egrets fishing in the clear, leisurely waters.
Or visit Yellow Dragon Cave Scenic Area (￥100 admission included), known as the "all-around champion of world karst caves": In 2005, Yellow Dragon Cave was selected as one of "China's Most Beautiful Tourist Caves." Inside, lights glow dimly and stalagmites stand in forests, like ancient trees with tangled roots. There are caves within caves and rivers within the cave—nothing is too strange to exist. It truly deserves the name "Underground Magic Palace." Famous sights in the cave include the 100-million-yuan-insured stalagmite Dinghai Shenzhen, Xiangshui River, Dragon King Assembly Hall, Heavenly Spring Water, and Tianzhu Street.

One-day tour of Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area, the "King of World Peak Forests," and Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area
Full day:
Depart from the hotel and go to the Suoxiyu ticket station to enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Scenic Area (￥248 admission included, valid for two days). Take the eco-bus for 40 minutes to reach Tianzi Mountain Nature Scenic Area, known as the "King of Peak Forests": "If one truly knows Tianzi's face, no other mountains are worth seeing after returning." You will see Tianzi Mountain's charming scenery, beautiful views, and numerous attractions. Visit Helong Park, which combines nature and culture, Yubi Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, West Sea Stone Forest, Stone Boat Sailing Out to Sea, and more. You can climb to Tianzi Pavilion, the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, and gaze at the panoramic view. Walk down the mountain for 2 hours (or take the Tianzi Mountain Cableway down, ￥67/person) to reach Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area, where you can visit: Old Man Gathering Herbs, one of Zhangjiajie's top ten wonders, Three Sisters Peak, Twilight Love, Golden Rooster Crowing at Dawn, Couple Embracing Child, Heavenly Dog Watching the Moon, and other attractions (you may take the sightseeing mini-train for the full route, ￥38 one way, ￥52 round trip/person).

Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area and Huangshizhai Scenic Area, then travel by bus to Fenghuang Ancient Town in the afternoon
Morning:
Stroll along "China's Most Beautiful Grand Canyon"—Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and walking the route takes about 2.5 hours. It is a naturally formed beautiful stream named after Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is clear in all four seasons. It is called a "landscape gallery" and "earthly fairyland." Along the way, visit famous sights such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Guarding the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Delivering a Child, Master and Disciples Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar's Book Collection.
Afternoon:
After lunch, visit Huangshizhai Scenic Area at an elevation of 1,200 meters, known by the saying "If you don't go to Huangshizhai, your trip to Zhangjiajie is in vain" (you may choose to take the Huangshizhai Cableway up and down, ￥65/person/trip, or walk): From here, thousands of mountains and valleys unfold before your eyes. Walking along the mountaintop loop trail, you can enjoy Huangshizhai's magnificent natural scenery. Along the way are Liuzi Pavilion, Star-Picking Platform, Two Gates Welcoming Guests, Five-Finger Peak, Golden Turtle in the Sea of Mist, Natural Mural, Huangshi Pine, Echo Wall, Ninefold Wall, and other attractions. Return to Zhangjiajie city. If the weather is clear, you can also view the majestic Tianmen Mountain and Tianmen Cave, the "Soul of Wuling," from the bus.

Depart by bus via Jishou to Fenghuang Ancient Town (about 4 hours): Fenghuang Ancient Town is a national historical and cultural city and was once praised by the famous New Zealand writer Rewi Alley as China's most beautiful small town. Enjoy the scenery of Xiangxi along the way and experience the customs of ethnic minorities. At night, view the Tuo River night scene. As thousands of lights along both banks of the Tuo River are lit one after another, the whole area glows with color, placing you in a splendid scene. Step into the bars of Fenghuang Ancient Town and experience its lively yet romantic atmosphere. Inside the town, ancient city towers and Ming- and Qing-dynasty courtyards still retain their charm, while the old and simple Tuo River flows quietly. Here you can visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and father of local literature; the former residence of Xiong Xiling, premier of the Republic of China; the East Gate Tower, one of the four great city gates of Fenghuang; the Ancient Town Museum; the Yang Family Ancestral Hall; Chongde Hall; the elegant and antique Hongqiao Art Building; Wanshou Palace, praised as "a grand showcase of architectural art with gathered halls, towers, and terraces"; and listen to the distinctive folk songs of Miao girls while boating on the clear, emerald Tuo River, passing century-old Tujia stilted houses on both banks.

Depart from Changsha in the morning, drive to Ningxiang, visit the Former Residence of Liu Shaoqi (Hua Ming Lou), Liu Shaoqi Memorial Hall, Bronze Statue Square, etc., then drive to Shaoshan, visit Chairman Mao's Former Residence, Bronze Statue Square, Celebrity Exhibition Hall, Mao Zedong Poetry Stele Forest, Shaofeng Temple (￥48 included, including cable car). 1. Meals for individual travelers: The group tour fee for individual travelers does not include meals. Visitors may choose on their own:

B. Have the travel agency or guide recommend and arrange package meals, standard ￥40/person/day (10 people/table), including breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
2. Scenic area cableways: Fees for cable cars, cableways, sightseeing mini-trains, elevators, and other transport tools within scenic areas;
3. Major transportation: Does not include airfare, train tickets, or other major transportation costs to and from Zhangjiajie from the visitor's location;

Note: Scenic area hotels use combined consumption; if meals are not taken, no refund will be given. Discount and free ticket policies for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Scenic Area tickets:
1. Visitors holding new-version press cards, active-duty officer cards, military disability certificates, civilian cadre certificates, student certificates, police officer certificates (armed police), soldier certificates, or retired officer certificates, and children under 1.2 meters, may pass directly through special channels with valid certificates;
2. Seniors aged 70 and above may purchase a ￥68 eco-bus ticket with their ID card;
3. Seniors aged 60–69 may purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with their ID card (must be full age);
4. Students over 1.2 meters and under 24 years old may purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with their student ID and ID card;
5. Children over 1.2 meters and under 1.5 meters may directly purchase a ￥163 discount ticket.
