After finishing Golden Whip Stream, there are two ways to go up to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area at the mountaintop (one: hike up from Meeting After a Thousand Miles at Golden Whip Stream via Luancuan Slope to Yuanjiajie; the other: at your own expense of ￥180/person (including the one-way Bailong Elevator ascent and the mountaintop Tujia village—Yuanjia Village ticket), take the shuttle bus from Shuiraosimen to the lower station of the Bailong Elevator, then take the world's No. 1 outdoor elevator to Yuanjiajie at the mountaintop. Afternoon: After lunch, visit the core of the World Natural Heritage---Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (including the prototype of the "Hallelujah Mountain" in the movie Avatar, the "Qiankun Pillar", First Bridge Under Heaven, Jiutian Mystic Ladder, Qiankun Pillar, Lianxin Bridge, China-Korea Friendship Pavilion, Divine Turtle Asking Heaven, Mihun Platform, and other attractions). Afterward, take about a 20-minute shuttle bus to the accommodation area at Daguantai. Because the mountain terrain where the village is entrenched is dangerous, when night falls it looks like a black dragon coiled on the mountain ridge, hence the name! The scenery of Yangjiajie, like Zhangjiajie, is mainly primitive natural beauty. Compared with Zhangjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, and Suoxiyu, besides basically the same geology, landforms, and some peaks, it also has its own unique features, unlike Zhangjiajie yet even better than Zhangjiajie. It is an excellent scenic area that regular tour groups have no time to arrange... Afternoon: Visit Daguantai Scenic Area (Tianzi Seat, Immortal Bridge, Divine Chicken Pecking Food, One Step Difficult to Walk), and view the panorama of Ten-Mile Gallery from afar; among the attractions in Daguantai Scenic Area, Immortal Bridge is the most breathtaking! A stone bridge about 1.5 meters wide and more than 10 meters long spans two sheer cliffs; below the bridge, clouds and mist swirl, and the bottom is invisible! Occasionally strange sounds of birds and beasts rise from the valley bottom! It adds a bit of mystery to the Immortal Bridge Scenic Area. In the evening, watch the sunset and brilliant colorful clouds over Tianzi Mountain in Zhangjiajie. Because mountain-type scenic areas mostly involve walking, sightseeing is relatively tiring, and there are few places to buy things in the scenic area. Morning: Visit Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area, known as the "enlarged bonsai, reduced fairyland" and titled King of Peak Forests (Fairy Maiden Scattering Flowers, Imperial Brush Peak, Tianzi Pavilion, Cloud Rock, and other attractions), Helong Park, and the bronze statue of He Long, one of the ten marshals. Then go to the scenic area at the foot of the mountain. (There are two ways down the mountain: one: hike down via Wolong Ridge to Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area at the foot of the mountain. The other: take the cableway down at your own expense of ￥67 from the upper station of Tianzi Mountain Cableway, then take the scenic area shuttle bus to Wulingyuan Gate). Full day: Take a bus to the lower station of Tianmen Mountain Cableway and visit Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park (tickets and the large round-trip cableway are included). Tianmen Mountain has profound cultural heritage, is known as the "Soul of Wulingyuan", and has the reputation of the No. 1 sacred mountain of Xiangxi. It combines peaks, rocks, springs, streams, clouds, and forests, and gathers majesty, wonder, beauty, danger, and tranquility in one, and is praised as an aerial primeval garden. Tianmen Cableway: The cableway line has an inclined length of 7,455 meters, with a horizontal height difference of 1,279 meters between the upper and lower stations. It is the world's longest single-line circulating detachable grip cabin-type cableway, like a rainbow flying between the "human world" and "heaven", and also like a giant dragon soaring in the white clouds and sky, clinging to the mountain and walls, rising straight up, soul-stirring and magnificent, becoming one of the "Four Wonders" of Tianmen Mountain Tourist Scenic Area. Tongtian Avenue: The winding mountain road known as Tongtian Avenue has a total of 99 bends, like a jade belt winding around, closely connected bend after bend, rising layer upon layer, clinging to the mountain and walls, rushing straight into the clouds. The "No. 1 Road Wonder Under Heaven" emerges, and viewed from the cableway, the road is as dense as a spider web, with a vertical height difference of about one thousand meters. Tianmen Cave Opening: Climb 999 steps to Tianmen Cave and pray to heaven. It is 131.5 meters high and more than 50 meters wide, opening north-south on a towering white cliff, majestic and towering, a rare high-altitude karst cave through the mountain, and an unrivaled wonder fully displaying the magic of creation. The 2006 Russian Air Force aerobatic performance at Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain increased the mystery of Tianmen Cave and once again made it a global focus.
