Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: One-day tour of Huangshizhai Scenic Area and Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area
Morning:
Depart from Zhangjiajie city center, drive 40 minutes to China's first national forest park -- Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (248 yuan ticket included, valid for two days). Visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (8-10 million negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air), climb to an altitude of 1,200 meters to Huangshizhai Scenic Area, which has the reputation of "If you don't visit Huangshizhai, your trip to Zhangjiajie is in vain" (you can choose to take the Huangshizhai cable car up and down the mountain, 50 yuan per person per trip, or choose to walk): a panoramic view of countless mountains and valleys unfolds before you. Walking along the loop trail around the summit, you can enjoy the stunning natural scenery of Huangshizhai. Stroll along "China's most beautiful grand canyon" -- Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and the walk takes about 2.5 hours. Golden Whip Stream is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after the Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is crystal clear in all four seasons. It is called "a gallery of mountains and waters" and "a fairyland on earth." Along the way, visit famous attractions such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Guarding the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Bringing a Child, Master and Disciples Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar's Book Collection. Depart from the hotel to Suoxiyu Ticket Station to enter the scenic area. You can take the world's No. 1 elevator -- Bailong Elevator (56 yuan per person) to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area: Yuanjiajie is the core landscape and premium tour route of Zhangjiajie. Yuanjiajie's scenery is famous for its majesty, wonder, danger, and steepness. Along the more than ten-li mountain loop trail, the scenery is too numerous to count. Among them, you can see: the prototype of "Hallelujah Mountain" in the movie Avatar -- "Qiankun Pillar," the natural stone bridge with the highest discovered drop so far -- the World's No. 1 Bridge, Jiutian Xuanti, Bagua Diagram, Ape Gazing at the Moon, Worshipping Immortals Platform, and other attractions.
Afternoon:
Visit Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, known as the "King of Peak Forests": "If one truly knows Tianzi's face, no other mountains are worth seeing after returning." This shows Tianzi Mountain's charming scenery, beautiful views, and numerous attractions. Visit Helong Park, which combines nature and culture, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, West Sea Stone Forest, Stone Boat Setting Out to Sea, and others. You can climb to Tianzi Pavilion, the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, and gaze at the panoramic view of Tianzi Mountain from afar. Drive via Furong Town to Fenghuang Ancient Town
Morning:
After breakfast, drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town. In the morning, pass by Furong Town (also known as Wangcun, the filming location of the movie starring Liu Xiaoqing and Jiang Wen). You may visit at your own expense: the ancient town's stone-slab street, chastity archway, Wangcun Waterfall, and taste Liu Xiaoqing's rice tofu.
Afternoon:
Arrive in Fenghuang Ancient Town in the afternoon, a national historical and cultural city once praised by the famous New Zealand writer Rewi Alley as China's most beautiful small town. In your leisure time, you can walk on the Tuo River's "jumping rocks" and the small stone-slab streets in Ming and Qing style. Then follow the scent of ginger candy to stroll along the folk customs street. You will find shops along the street filled with Tujia silver jewelry, Xilankapu, bamboo ware, and other handicrafts. Visit Fenghuang, transfer in the afternoon

Visit Fenghuang Ancient Town and tour the former residence of General Chen Dounan in Fenghuang (ticket included): a famous historic site in the ancient town and an interior filming location for more than ten famous films and TV dramas, including "Suppressing Bandits in Wulong Mountain," "The Last Miao King," "My Heart Flies," and "Past Events in Xiangxi." Take a boat ride on the Tuo River in Fenghuang (free gift tour from our site). Fenghuang Ancient Town has beautiful scenery, a long history, and many scenic spots and historic sites. Inside the town, ancient city towers and Ming and Qing courtyards still retain their charm, and the ancient, simple Tuo River flows quietly. While boating on the clear, emerald Tuo River, you can visit the century-old Tujia stilted houses on both banks along the way.

Note: Scenic area hotels have combined consumption; no refund for unused meals. If attractions cannot be visited due to force majeure, or if discount tickets are generated with discount certificates, only the difference after the discount settlement price will be refunded.

2. Elderly people over 70 years old can purchase a ￥68 eco-friendly bus ticket with ID card;

4. Students over 1.2 meters and under 24 years old can purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with student ID and ID card;
