Overview
Five days linking Zhangjiajie's mountains with a riverside ancient town in western Hunan: Zhangjiajie: Wulingyuan (Yuanjiajie / Tianzi Mountain / Golden Whip Stream) + Tianmen Mountain. Fenghuang Ancient Town (national 5A, rated 2024): Tuo River boating, Hong Bridge, stilted houses, former residence of Shen Congwen; the town is at its finest lit up at night. Price: on request.

Arrive in Zhangjiajie
Pickup and check-in at a downtown hotel, free time.

Wulingyuan Core Scenic Area
Yuanjiajie (Qiankun Pillar / No. 1 Bridge under Heaven), Tianzi Mountain (Imperial Brush Peak / West Sea Stone Forest), transfer by Bailong Elevator or cable car.

Tianmen Mountain + Head to Fenghuang
In the morning, visit Tianmen Mountain (Tianmen Cave / Glass Skywalk / Tongtian Avenue); in the afternoon, drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town (about 4 hours), and take a night cruise on the Tuo River.

Fenghuang Ancient Town (full day)
Boat on the Tuo River, Rainbow Bridge, ancient city wall, stilted houses, Shen Congwen's Former Residence, East Gate Tower; you can also climb South Huashan to overlook the entire ancient town.

Return from Fenghuang
Sleep in until you wake naturally, stroll through the ancient town's morning market, then return to Zhangjiajie or head directly to Tongren/Jishou station or airport for your departure.

· The itinerary order and attractions may be adjusted based on actual flights and weather.
