Morning: Pick up, visit Tianmen Mountain and Tianmen Cave in the city
Full Day:
In the morning, drive to Zhangjiajie City, where the guide will meet the group at the exit of the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway.
Proceed to the lower station of the Tianmen Mountain Cableway and visit Tianmen Mountain National Park (admission and cableway tickets of ￥258 included; tour lasts no less than 4 hours). Tianmen Mountain has a profound cultural heritage and is known as the 'Soul of Wuling' and the 'First Sacred Mountain of Xiangxi'. It combines peaks, rocks, springs, streams, clouds, and forests, and embodies majesty, wonder, beauty, steepness, and tranquility. It is hailed as an 'aerial primeval garden'. We will take the Tianmen Mountain Cableway to visit Tianmen Mountain: see Tianmen Cave, the 99-bend road wonder (Tongtian Avenue), Li Na's Villa, Guigu Plank Road, Guigu Military Formation, Yunmeng Fairy Summit, Tianmen Mountain Temple, Lingquan Courtyard, Wood and Stone Love, and other famous attractions.
Tianmen Mountain Cableway: The cableway has a斜 length of 7,455 meters and a vertical drop of 1,279 meters between the upper and lower stations. It is the world's longest single-line circulating detachable gondola cableway, like a rainbow spanning 'earth' and 'heaven', and like a giant dragon soaring in the clouds, clinging to the cliffs, rising into the sky, breathtaking and magnificent. It is one of the 'Four Wonders' of Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area.
Tongtian Avenue: Known as Tongtian Avenue, this winding mountain road has a total of 99 bends, like a jade belt winding around, closely connected, layer upon layer, clinging to the cliffs, soaring into the clouds. The 'World's No.1 Road Wonder' emerges, and from the cableway, the road looks like a dense spider web, with a vertical drop of about 1,000 meters.
Tianmen Cave: Climb 999 steps to Tianmen Cave to pray. It is 131.5 meters high and over 50 meters wide, opening north-south on a sheer cliff. It is majestic and towering, a rare high-altitude karst cave, and a world-class wonder of nature. The 2006 Russian Air Force aerobatic performance at Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie added suspense to Tianmen Cave, making it a global focus again.
Guigu Plank Road: Under your feet is an endless green field, flocks of birds playing in the canyon, occasionally an eagle gliding by. Close your eyes, with numb legs and a racing heartbeat, stretch out your arms, and you will get a perfect, thrilling, and natural SPA. After all, enjoying the scenery on a cliff is generally not for the faint-hearted.
After descending, check into a hotel in Zhangjiajie City for rest. In the evening, you can freely stroll around Zhangjiajie City or attend the large-scale high-mountain canyon live-action drama 'Tianmen Fox Fairy: Liu Hai Cuts Firewood' created by Zhang Yimou's team.

Morning:
Depart from Zhangjiajie City, drive 40 minutes to China's first national forest park - Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (admission ￥248 included). Stroll along 'China's Most Beautiful Canyon' - Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and the walk takes about 2.5 hours. It is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after the Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is clear all year round, known as a 'landscape gallery' and 'fairyland on earth'. Along the way, visit famous attractions such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Protecting the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Thousand-Mile Meeting, Water Around Four Gates, Guanyin Delivering a Child, Master and Disciples Pilgrimage, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Double Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar's Library. Visit Tianzi Mountain Nature Scenic Area, known as the "King of Peak Forests": "If one truly knows Tianzi's face, after returning one need not look at other mountains." This shows Tianzi Mountain's charming scenery, beautiful views, and numerous attractions. Visit Helong Park, which combines nature and culture, Yubi Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, Xihai Stone Forest, Stone Boat Setting Out to Sea, and more. You can go up to Tianzi Pavilion, the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, and look far out over the panoramic view of Tianzi Mountain. Walk down the mountain for 2 hours (or take the Tianzi Mountain Cableway down, ￥67/person) to reach the Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area: you can visit: one of Zhangjiajie's top ten wonders, the Herb-Collecting Old Man, Three Sisters Peak, Twilight Love, Golden Rooster Crowing at Dawn, Husband and Wife Embracing Child, Heavenly Dog Gazing at the Moon, and other attractions (you may take the sightseeing mini-train for the full route, one way ￥38/person).
