Morning meet the group, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: Huangshizhai Scenic Area and Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area one-day tour
Morning:
The guide and driver will meet you at Zhangjiajie Airport or Railway Station with a sign. Depart from Zhangjiajie city center and drive 40 minutes to China's first national forest park -- Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (248 yuan entrance fee included, valid for two days). Visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (8-10 million negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air), then climb to 1,200 meters above sea level to Huangshizhai Scenic Area, known as "If you don't visit Huangshizhai, you've wasted your trip to Zhangjiajie" (you may choose to take the Huangshizhai cable car up and down, 65 yuan per person per trip, or walk): enjoy a panoramic view of countless mountains and valleys. Walking along the circular trail at the top, you can appreciate the stunning natural scenery of Huangshizhai, passing attractions such as Liuqi Pavilion, Star-Picking Platform, Two Gates Welcoming Guests, Five-Finger Peak, Sea of Clouds Golden Turtle, Natural Fresco, Huangshi Pine, Echo Wall, and Nine-Layer Wall.
Afternoon:
Stroll along "China's most beautiful grand canyon" -- Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long and takes about 2.5 hours to walk. It is a naturally formed beautiful stream named after the Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the water is clear year-round, earning it the titles "Gallery of Landscape" and "Fairyland on Earth." Along the way, visit famous attractions such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Protecting the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Delivering a Child, Master and Disciples Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar's Library. Morning:
Depart from the hotel to Suoxiyu entrance to enter the scenic area. You may take the world's No.1 elevator -- Bailong Elevator (72 yuan per person) to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area: Yuanjiajie is the core landscape and premium tour route of Zhangjiajie. Its scenery is known for being majestic, peculiar, dangerous, and steep. Along the over ten-li mountain trail, the scenery is countless. Afternoon:
Take the eco-bus for 40 minutes to Tianzi Mountain Natural Scenic Area, known as the "King of Peak Forests": "Whoever knows Tianzi's face, returns and no longer looks at other mountains." This shows Tianzi Mountain's charming and beautiful scenery with many attractions. Visit Helong Park, which combines nature and culture, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, West Sea Stone Forest, Stone Boat Sailing Out, etc. You can climb to the highest point, Tianzi Pavilion, and overlook the panoramic view of Tianzi Mountain. Yellow Dragon Cave Scenic Area or Baofeng Lake Scenic Area, then go to Changsha in the afternoon
Morning:
Visit Yellow Dragon Cave Scenic Area, known as the "All-Around Champion of World Karst Caves" (100 yuan entrance fee included): Yellow Dragon Cave was selected as "China's Most Beautiful Tourist Cave" in 2005. Inside, lights are dim and stalagmites stand in rows, like ancient trees with twisted roots. There are caves within caves, rivers within caves, and wonders of all kinds. It truly is an "Underground Magic Palace." Return to Zhangjiajie city. On clear days, you can also see the majestic Tianmen Mountain and Tianmen Cave, the "Soul of Wuling," from the bus.
