Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: Huangshizhai Scenic Area and Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area One-Day Tour
Morning:
Depart from Zhangjiajie City, drive for 40 minutes to arrive at China's first national forest park—Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (248 yuan ticket included). Visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (with 80,000-100,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter), climb to an altitude of 1200 meters and enjoy the reputation of 'If you don't visit Huangshizhai, you've wasted your trip to Zhangjiajie'—Huangshizhai Scenic Area (you can choose to take the Huangshizhai cable car up and down at ￥65 per person per ride, or choose to walk): Take in the panoramic view of countless mountains and valleys. Walking along the mountain-top loop trail, you can enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery of Huangshizhai, including Liuqi Pavilion, Star-Picking Platform, Double Gates Welcoming Guests, Five Finger Peak, Golden Turtle in the Sea of Mist, Natural Fresco, Huangshizhai Pine, Echo Wall, and Nine-Layer Wall.

Stroll along the 'most beautiful grand canyon in China'—Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and the walk takes about 2.5 hours. Golden Whip Stream is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is clear in all four seasons, known as 'Landscape Gallery' and 'Fairyland on Earth'. Along the way, visit famous attractions such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Protecting the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Presenting a Child, Master and Disciple Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar Storing Books. Depart from the hotel and head to the Suoxiyu entrance to enter the scenic area. You may take the world's No.1 elevator—Bailong Elevator (￥72/person) to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area: Yuanjiajie is the core landscape and premium touring route of Zhangjiajie. Its scenery is known for being majestic, peculiar, precipitous, and steep. Along the more than ten-li mountain-ring touring path, the scenery is too numerous to count. Among them, you can see: the prototype of the "Hallelujah Mountain" in the movie Avatar—the "Qiankun Pillar", the natural stone bridge with the highest discovered drop so far—the No.1 Bridge under Heaven, Jiutian Xuanti, Bagua Diagram, Ape Gazing at the Moon, Worshipping Immortals Terrace, and other attractions.
Afternoon:
Visit Tianzi Mountain Nature Scenic Area, known as the "King of Peak Forests": "If one truly knows Tianzi's face, after returning one need not look at other mountains." This shows how charming and beautiful Tianzi Mountain's scenery is, with numerous attractions. Visit Helong Park, which combines nature and culture, Yubi Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, Xihai Stone Forest, Stone Boat Setting Out to Sea, and more. You can ascend to Tianzi Pavilion, the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, and gaze at the panoramic view of Tianzi Mountain from afar. Walk down the mountain for 2 hours (or take the Tianzi Mountain Cableway down, ￥67/person) to reach Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area: you can visit the Herb-Collecting Old Man, one of Zhangjiajie's top ten wonders, Three Sisters Peak, Twilight Love, Golden Rooster Crowing at Dawn, Husband and Wife Embracing Child, Heavenly Dog Gazing at the Moon, and other attractions (you may take the sightseeing mini-train for the full route, one way ￥38/person). Visit Fenghuang Ancient Town: Fenghuang Ancient Town has beautiful scenery, a long history, and many scenic spots and historic sites. Inside the town, ancient city towers and Ming and Qing dynasty courtyards still retain their elegance, and the ancient, simple Tuo River flows quietly. Here, you can visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and father of local literature, the former residence of Xiong Xiling, the first cabinet premier of the Republic of China, the East Gate Tower, one of the four great gates of Fenghuang, the Ancient Town Museum, Yang Family Ancestral Hall, Chongde Hall, the elegant and antique Hongqiao Art Building, Wanshou Palace, evaluated as "a grand architectural art gallery of halls, towers, and terraces", and while listening to the distinctive folk songs of Miao girls, take a boat on the clear and green Tuo River, visiting along the way the century-old Tujia stilted houses on both banks.
In addition, in your spare time, you can walk on the Tuo River's "jumping rocks" and the small flagstone streets in Ming and Qing style, then follow the drifting aroma of ginger candy to stroll along the Folk Customs Street. You will find Tujia silver ornaments, Xilankapu, bamboo ware, and other handicrafts dazzling in the small shops along the street. 2. Scenic area cable cars: Fees for cable cars, ropeways, sightseeing mini-trains, elevators, and other transportation tools within the scenic area;
3. Transportation fees: The above prices are for self-driving tours and do not include transportation costs;
4. Other expenses: Personal consumption, optional items, and additional expenses caused by force majeure, etc.;
Note: Hotels in scenic areas have combined consumption; no refund for unused meals. If attractions cannot be visited due to force majeure, or if discount tickets are generated with valid discount certificates, only the difference after the discounted settlement price will be refunded.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ticket discount and free ticket policy:
1. Tourists holding new version press cards, active military officer certificates, military disability certificates, civilian cadre certificates, student certificates, police officer certificates (armed police), soldier certificates, retired military officer certificates, and children under 1.2 meters can pass through the special channel directly with valid certificates;
2. Seniors over 70 years old can purchase a ￥68 eco-friendly bus ticket with their ID card;
3. Seniors aged 60-69 can purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with their ID card (must be full age);
4. Students over 1.2 meters and under 24 years old can purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with their student ID and ID card;
5. Children over 1.2 meters and under 1.5 meters can directly purchase a ￥163 discount ticket.
6. Those holding first- or second-level disability certificates issued by the Disabled Persons' Federation can purchase a ￥68 eco-friendly bus ticket; please verify certificates and number of people before purchasing tickets, and present certificates when purchasing.
