Day 1: Meet the group, travel to Zhangjiajie via the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway, afternoon at Baofeng Lake or Yellow Dragon Cave
In the morning, the guide and driver will pick you up in Changsha, then travel to Zhangjiajie via the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway (about 3.5 hours by car), passing through Baizhang Gorge, the gateway to Wulingyuan, and arriving in Suoxiyu Town, Wulingyuan.
In the afternoon, visit Baofeng Lake or Yellow Dragon Cave.
Baofeng Lake Scenic Area, the "Jade Lake of the Human World," combines mountains and water and blends folk customs, and is especially famous for its exquisite high-gorge lake scenery, the Baofeng Waterfall that "plunges three thousand feet," and the mysterious ancient temple deep in the mountains. We will go to see lifelike scenic spots such as Baofeng Waterfall, Fairy Mirror, Stone Gate Welcoming Guests, Peacock Displaying Its Tail, Golden Toad Holding the Moon, and Divine Turtle Emerging from the Water. Boating on the lake, you can listen to the mountain songs of the young men and women on the water expressing love, and watch egrets fishing in the leisurely blue water; Baofeng Lake is a highlight among the scenic spots of Wulingyuan.
Yellow Dragon Cave, a world karst cave wonder, is a famous cave attraction in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area of Zhangjiajie. In 2005 it was selected as "China's Most Beautiful Tourist Cave." We will go to see famous spots such as Dragon Dance Hall, Xiangshui River, Heavenly Fairy Water, Tianzhu Street, Dragon Palace, and Maze.
Then leave the scenic area and go to a hotel in Wulingyuan for accommodation.

Morning: Take a bus to the world peak forest wonder—Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area (you may choose to take the cableway one way at 52 RMB/person per ride or walk up Tianzi Mountain), and visit Tianzi Pavilion, West Sea Stone Forest, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, He Long Park, Stone Boat Sailing Out to Sea, Herb-Collecting Old Man, He Long Bronze Statue, and other scenic spots; (you may choose to pay 148 RMB to take the Bailong Elevator to visit Yuanjia Village, Yuanjiajie, etc.);
Afternoon: Walk down Tianzi Mountain via Wolong Ridge to reach Ten-Mile Gallery. After descending, visit the exquisitely crafted Ten-Mile Gallery (you may choose to walk or take the sightseeing mini-train one way at 23 RMB/person per ride, round trip at 33 RMB/person per ride). Mengdong River Rafting one-day tour
Morning: Take a bus from the ancient town to Mengdong River to join the world's number one rafting experience—Mengdong River Rafting. We start from "Hani Palace" and drift downstream in a small boat, bobbing between the crests of waves and the bottom of valleys, passing by Triangle Rock, Chicken Coop Gate, Nietu Waterfall, Yama Rapids, Luoshuikeng Waterfall, Mengsi Gorge... dozens of scenic spots come one after another, too beautiful to take in all at once; here you can sing loudly, battle the waves through the rapids, or splash and play in the water, rediscovering the self you lost long ago. Mengdong River Rafting is one of only two four-star rafting routes in the country.
[Furong Town], originally called [Wangcun], became famous at home and abroad because Liu Xiaoqing and Jiang Wen filmed the movie "Furong Town" here. Furong Town is a typical image of a small border town in western Hunan, with bluestone slabs and stilted houses, fully embodying the characteristics of Tujia dwellings in western Hunan.
Afternoon: Take a bus back to Zhangjiajie city to see off the group (around 6 p.m.).

Tianmen Mountain one-day tour, afternoon see off the group in Zhangjiajie city
Morning: Take a bus to the lower station of the Tianmen Mountain cableway and visit Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Tianmen Mountain has a profound cultural heritage and is known as the "Soul of Wuling," and even more as the number one sacred mountain of western Hunan. It combines peaks, rocks, springs, streams, clouds, and forests, and gathers majesty, wonder, beauty, steepness, and seclusion in one, and is praised as an aerial primeval garden. We will take the Tianmen Mountain cableway to visit Tianmen Mountain: see Tianmen Cave, the 99-bend road wonder (Tongtian Avenue), Li Na Villa, Ghost Valley Plank Road, Ghost Valley Military Formation, Yunmeng Fairy Summit, Tianmen Mountain Temple, Lingquan Courtyard, Wood and Stone in Love, and other famous scenic spots.
Tianmen Cableway: The cableway has an inclined length of 7,455 meters and a horizontal height difference of 1,279 meters between the upper and lower stations. It is the world's longest single-line circulating detachable grip cabin-style cableway, like a rainbow flying between the "human world" and "heaven," and also like a giant dragon soaring in the plain clouds and sky, clinging to the mountain and cliffs, rising straight up, soul-stirring and magnificent, becoming one of the "four wonders" of the Tianmen Mountain tourist scenic area.
Tongtian Avenue: The winding mountain road known as Tongtian Avenue has a total of 99 bends, like a jade belt winding around, bend after bend closely connected, layer upon layer rising, clinging to the mountain and cliffs, rushing straight into the clouds. The "number one road wonder under heaven" was born, and from the cableway the road looks like a dense spider web, with a vertical height difference of about one thousand meters.
Tianmen Cave Opening: 131.5 meters high and more than 50 meters wide, opening north-south on a sheer cliff of a thousand fathoms. It is majestic and towering, a rare high-altitude through-mountain karst cave, and even more a peerless wonder fully displaying the marvels of creation. The 2006 Russian Air Force aerobatic performance at Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie raised the mystery of Tianmen Cave and once again made it a global focus.
Ghost Valley Plank Road: Beneath your feet is boundless green wilderness, flocks of small birds play in the canyon, and occasionally an eagle skims past your eyes. Close your eyes, stretch out your numb legs, with a racing heartbeat, open your arms, and you can get the most perfect, most thrilling, and most nature-close SPA. Because you should know that enjoying scenery on a cliff is generally something non-humans can enjoy.
