Day 1
Day 1: Old Courtyard, Dayong Prefecture City, and Puguang Zen Temple Day Tour
Morning: Head to the Tujia Old Courtyard: The Old Courtyard was first built in the early Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty. It is a typical fire-sealed wall courtyard-style building and one of the five major gateways of the Tian clan, a prominent family in western Hunan. It has 31 rooms of various sizes, with deep courtyards and rigorous layout. The interior furnishings remain unchanged, and the treasures collected are mostly rare items.
Then proceed to visit Dayong Prefecture City—Zhangjiajie Folk Culture Tourism City, the site of the Dayong Prefecture Office, Zhangjiajie Museum, Zhangjiajie Multi-Ethnic Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall, Zhangjiajie City Tourist Service Center, and the Five Major Ethnic Minorities Sacrifice and Blessing Center and Folk Performance Center. It integrates dining, accommodation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment, featuring star-rated hotels, folk inns, a specialty food street, an ethnic goods shopping street, a folk-style bar street, a leisure bathing center, and Zhangjiajie City Tourist Service Center.
Afternoon: Visit Puguang Zen Temple: Puguang Zen Temple is located on Jiefang Road in Zhangjiajie city, first built in the 11th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1413). According to old records, this place was originally called White Sheep Mountain, with ancient trees covering the sky. One day, Yong Jian, the military commander stationed in Yongding, saw a flock of white sheep and chased them. One sheep turned into a white stone and entered the ground. Upon digging, several jars of gold were found, all used to build the temple. When reported to the court, it was imperially named "Puguang Zen Temple." The temple's architecture uses traditional dougong and caisson structures, with exquisite design and magnificent grandeur. From 1919 to 1943, the temple held the Longhua Assembly six times, attracting nearly a thousand Buddhists from Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, and Guizhou provinces to gather here for ordination, earning it the reputation of a famous temple in Jiangnan.

4. Insurance: Includes travel agency liability insurance and scenic area accident insurance. For private groups, personal accident insurance can be provided as a gift;
5. Transportation: Includes 7-55 seat tourist vehicles (vehicle type depends on the number of people in the group that day). Vehicle use period: from pick-up to drop-off; vehicle use scope: within the tourist itinerary.
II. Explanation of costs not included in the quotation:
1. Tourist meals: Except where specially marked "meals included," all others [do not include meals]. Solutions:
A. Arrange meals independently. Tourists may decide freely according to personal preference and freely choose specialty dishes;
B. Choose group meals provided by our agency: standard 40 yuan/person per day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
2. Scenic area cableways: Costs for cable cars, cableways, sightseeing mini trains, elevators, and other transport tools within scenic areas;
3. Major transportation: Does not include air tickets, train tickets, and other major transportation costs to and from Zhangjiajie from the tourist's location;
4. Other costs: Personal consumption and additional costs caused by force majeure factors, etc.
III. Travel warm reminders:
1. Ticket booking: Our agency can book round-trip air tickets and train tickets for tourists;
2. Additional attractions: This route can add other attractions according to tourist needs, with costs calculated separately;
3. Preferential policies: Tourists who meet the following preferential policies, such as: elderly people over 60, active-duty military personnel, children under 1.2 meters, students, journalists, etc. Please inform our customer service in advance.
Note: Scenic area hotels use combined consumption; meals not eaten are non-refundable. If attraction tickets cannot be visited due to force majeure, or if preferential tickets are generated with preferential certificates, only the difference after the preferential settlement price will be refunded.

1. Economy: Stay in ordinary hotels, no star rating, clean, hygienic, safe, with private bathroom, air conditioning, color TV, and hot water facilities complete;
2. Standard: Hotels are higher than "Economy," recently renovated or hotels preparing to apply for three-star rating;
3. Deluxe: Stay in officially listed three-star hotels evaluated by relevant national departments;
4. Super Deluxe: Stay in four-star hotels or hotels with larger scale, more complete facilities, and preparing to apply for four-star rating compared with "Deluxe";
5. Ultra Deluxe: Standard stay in five-star hotels or the best local hotels, such as Wulingyuan International Resort Hotel in Wulingyuan District (listed 5-star).
Group type explanation [individual tourists, groups, conferences accepted daily]:
1. Joined group tour: A conventional and economical way of traveling. After tourists from various places register with our agency, accommodation, vehicles, guides, and other services are arranged uniformly to form a tour group for travel. Advantages: optimizes tourism resources and saves travel costs; Disadvantages: compared with private groups, flexibility is slightly lower.
2. Private group: Means tourists charter a vehicle separately and hire a dedicated guide, forming an independent group. Advantages: more dedicated service, product quality and service quality far higher than conventional travel methods; Disadvantages: private groups require advance booking and arrangement, and the travel price is relatively higher.
