Morning group pickup, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: one-day tour of Huangshizhai Scenic Area and Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area
Morning: The guide and driver will meet the group at Zhangjiajie Airport or railway station with a sign. Depart from Zhangjiajie city and drive 40 minutes to China's first national forest park—Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (￥248 admission included, valid for three days). Visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (with 80,000-100,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter), then climb to 1,200 meters above sea level to Huangshizhai Scenic Area, known by the saying "If you don't go up Huangshizhai, your trip to Zhangjiajie is in vain" (you may choose to take the Huangshizhai cableway up and down at your own expense, ￥65/person/one way, or choose to walk): From here, thousands of peaks and valleys come into view. Walking along the loop trail at the top, you can enjoy Huangshizhai's stunning natural scenery, passing sights such as Liuqi Pavilion, Star-Picking Platform, Two Gates Welcoming Guests, Five-Finger Peak, Sea of Mist Golden Turtle, Natural Fresco, Huangshi Pine, Echo Wall, and Jiuzhong Wall.
Afternoon: Stroll along "China's most beautiful grand canyon"—Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and walking takes about 2.5 hours. It is a naturally formed beautiful stream named after the Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is clear in all four seasons, earning it the names "Gallery of Landscape" and "Fairyland on Earth." Along the way, visit famous sights such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Guarding the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Delivering a Child, Master and Disciple Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar's Book Collection. Morning: Depart from the hotel to the Suoxiyu ticket station to enter the scenic area. You may optionally take the world's No.1 elevator—Bailong Elevator (￥72/person) to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area: Yuanjiajie is the core landscape and premium tour route of Zhangjiajie. Yuanjiajie is known for its magnificence, wonder, steepness, and ruggedness. Along the more than ten-li mountain-ring tour road, the scenery is countless. This shows Tianzi Mountain's charming scenery, beautiful views, and numerous attractions. Visit Helong Park, Yubi Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, Xihai Stone Forest, Stone Boat Sailing Out, and other sites that combine nature and culture. You can climb to the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, Tianzi Pavilion, and overlook the panoramic view of Tianzi Mountain.
