Day 1: Pick up the group, one-day tour of Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, free time in the afternoon
Morning: The guide picks up the group in Zhangjiajie, then take a bus to the lower station of Tianmen Mountain Cableway and tour Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Tianmen Mountain has profound cultural heritage, is known as the "Soul of Wuling", and has the reputation of the No.1 sacred mountain of Xiangxi. It combines peaks, rocks, springs, streams, clouds, and forests, and integrates magnificence, wonder, beauty, steepness, and seclusion. It is praised as an aerial primitive garden. We take the Tianmen Mountain Cableway to visit Tianmen Mountain: see Tianmen Cave, the 99-bend road wonder (Tongtian Avenue), Li Na Villa, Guigu Plank Road, Guigu Military Formation, Yunmeng Immortal Summit, Tianmen Mountain Temple, Lingquan Courtyard, Wood and Stone Love, and other famous attractions.
Tianmen Cableway: The cableway line has an inclined length of 7,455 meters, with a horizontal height difference of 1,279 meters between the upper and lower stations. It is the world's longest circulating detachable grip cabin-type cableway, like a rainbow flying between the "human world" and "heaven", and like a giant dragon soaring in the blue sky, rising straight up, magnificent and spectacular, becoming one of the "Four Wonders" of Tianmen Mountain.
Tongtian Avenue: The winding mountain road known as Tongtian Avenue has a total of 99 bends, like a jade belt winding around, with bends closely connected, layered upward, clinging to the mountain and cliffs, rushing straight into the clouds. The "No.1 Road Wonder under Heaven" was born, and viewed from the cableway, the road is as dense as a spider web, with a vertical height difference of about one thousand meters.
Tianmen Cave Opening: 131.5 meters high and more than 50 meters wide, opening north-south on a thousand-fathom white cliff. It is majestic and towering, a rare high-altitude mountain-piercing karst cave, and an unparalleled wonder fully displaying the magic of creation. In 2006, the Russian Air Force's aerobatic performance at Tianmen Mountain escalated the mystery of Tianmen Cave and once again made it a global focus.
Guigu Plank Road: Beneath your feet is boundless green wilderness, flocks of small birds play in the canyon, and occasionally an eagle skims past your eyes. Close your eyes, with numb legs and rapid heartbeat, open your arms, and you can get a most perfect, most thrilling, and closest-to-nature SPA. Because you should know that enjoying scenery on a cliff is generally not something ordinary humans can enjoy.
Tianmen Mountain Temple: Tianmen Mountain Temple is a new legend of Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain. On June 8, 2009, a Buddha relic was enshrined in Tianmen Temple. This Sakyamuni Buddha relic is not only the first in Hunan Province, but also one of only five currently in China. The temple buildings are elegant and quiet, ingenious and grand, with a wide field of vision. Looking southeast, all mountains appear small, truly possessing the spirit of one mountain reigning supreme. It is the Buddhist center of Xiangxi.
Afternoon: Then take the cableway down the mountain, free time. You may visit famous attractions such as Dayong Fu City and Old Courtyard.

One-day tour of Huangshizhai and Golden Whip Stream in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Morning: Take a bus to China's first national forest park—Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (8-10 ten-thousand negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air), climb to the largest empty viewing platform in Zhangjiajie at an altitude of 1,200 meters—Huangshizhai Scenic Area (you may choose the cableway one way ￥48/person/trip, round trip ￥92/person/trip, or choose to walk). A thousand mountains and ten thousand valleys are all in view. Walking along the mountain-top ring-road tour path, you can enjoy the extremely beautiful natural scenery of Huangshizhai. Along the way are Liuqi Pavilion, Star-Picking Terrace, Double Gates Welcoming Guests, Five Finger Peak, Sea of Mist Golden Turtle, Natural Fresco, Huangshizhai Pine, Echo Wall, Jiuzhong Wall, and other attractions.
Afternoon: Stroll along "China's most beautiful grand canyon"—Golden Whip Stream. Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and walking tour takes about 2.5 hours. Golden Whip Stream is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after Golden Whip Rock. The valley vegetation is lush, and the stream water is clear in all four seasons. It is called a "landscape gallery" and "fairyland on earth". Morning: Take a bus to the world peak forest wonder—Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area (you may choose the cableway one way ￥52/person/trip or walk up Tianzi Mountain). "If one knows the face of Tianzi, after returning one need not look at other mountains under heaven." This shows Tianzi Mountain's charming scenery, beautiful views, and numerous attractions. Visit Tianzi Pavilion, Xihai Stone Forest, Yubi Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, Helong Park, Stone Boat Sailing Out, Herb-Collecting Old Man, Helong Bronze Statue, and other attractions; (you may optionally take the Bailong Elevator to visit Yuanjiazhai and Yuanjiajie).
Afternoon: Walk down Tianzi Mountain via Wolong Ridge to reach Ten-Mile Gallery, and tour the exquisite Ten-Mile Gallery (you may choose to take the sightseeing mini-train, one way ￥23/person/trip, or walk). Along the way you can enjoy Tiantai, Three Sisters Peak, Xiangwang Reading Books, Longevity Star Welcoming Guests, Herb-Collecting Old Man, Golden Rat Watching the Sky, Fierce Tiger Roaring at the Sky, and other attractions; then take the eco-friendly bus to Wulingyuan ticket station and check into the hotel to rest.

Morning: Take a bus to the most beautiful small town—Fenghuang Ancient Town, about a four-hour drive. Have lunch in the ancient town.
Afternoon: Then we visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, a great literary figure; the former residence of Xiong Xiling, the first cabinet premier of the Republic of China; Yang Family Ancestral Hall, one of the twenty-four ancestral halls; the ancient East Gate Tower; the North Gate Jumping Rocks where thousands of troops passed; take a leisurely wooden boat to enjoy the intoxicating scenery of the Tuojiang River; the stilted house complex with red lanterns hung high; Hongqiao; and the Ducui Tower—Huang Yongyu's studio—hidden among green mountains and clear waters. Standing by the river is the Wanming Pagoda. Walking along the ancient and long bluestone-slab street, you will see all kinds of silverware, mouth-watering snacks, local specialties whose names you may not know, and the astonishing paper-cutting of Miao elderly women... One-day tour of Mengdong River rafting, see off the group in the afternoon
Morning: Take a bus from the ancient town to Mengdong River and participate in the world's No.1 rafting—Mengdong River Rafting. We start from "Hani Palace" and go downstream. A small boat appears at the wave crests and valley bottom, passing through "Sanjiao Rock", "Jilong Gate", "Nietu Waterfall", "Yanwang Beach", "Luoshui Pit Waterfall", "Mengsi Gorge"... dozens of attractions arrive one after another, too beautiful to take in. [Furong Town], originally called [Wangcun], became famous at home and abroad because Liu Xiaoqing and Jiang Wen filmed the movie Hibiscus Town here. Furong Town is a typical image of a small border town in Xiangxi. Bluestone slabs and stilted houses centrally embody the characteristics of Tujia dwellings in Xiangxi.
Afternoon: Take a bus back to Zhangjiajie city to see off the group (about 6 p.m.).

2. Private group: Means tourists charter a vehicle separately and hire a dedicated guide, forming an independent group.
