Depart from the hotel to the Suoxiyu entrance to enter [Zhangjiajie National Forest Park] (￥245 ticket + ￥5 scenic area insurance included, valid for two days of sightseeing). Take the shuttle bus within the scenic area for 40 minutes to the core area, then take the world's No.1 elevator—Bailong Elevator (the world's highest and most beautiful sightseeing elevator, ￥72 per person included) to reach [Yuanjiajie Scenic Area]: Yuanjiajie is the core landscape and premium tour route of Zhangjiajie. Its scenery is known for being majestic, peculiar, precipitous, and steep. Morning:
Stroll along "China's Most Beautiful Grand Canyon"--[Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area]: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 kilometers long, and walking takes about 2.5 hours. It is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after the Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is clear in all seasons, known as "Landscape Gallery" and "Fairyland on Earth". Afternoon:
Visit a national key cultural relic protection unit and the holy land in the hearts of the Tujia people----[Tujia Folk Custom Park] (complimentary item; no refund or reduction if not visited). The park features intoxicating Tujia gate-blocking wine, mysterious Tujia ancestor worship activities, Tujia historical relics exhibition, and Tujia folk customs demonstrations. The buildings in the park are mostly wood and stone structures, with carved beams and painted rafters, resplendent and magnificent, with flying eaves and exquisite elegance. Representative works include the Tusi Castle, Hand-Waving Hall, Tujia Village, and Houwang Palace. Then transfer to the scenic area shuttle bus to tour the most dangerous pass on the Hunan-Sichuan Highway—[Aizhai Highway Wonder]. This six-kilometer road built during the Anti-Japanese War is the most dangerous in terrain and ingenious in engineering design in the country.
