At 8:00 AM, gather at Changsha Railway Station Square and board a 33-, 39-, or 45-seat tour bus. At 8:30, take the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway to Zhangjiajie, China's first national park. Arrive at noon, have lunch, then pass through Baizhang Gorge, the gateway to Wulingyuan, and visit the Baofeng Lake Scenic Area, known as the 'Jade Lake of the Human World.' Admire lifelike sights such as Baofeng Waterfall, Fairy Looking in the Mirror, Stone Gate Welcoming Guests, Peacock Displaying Its Tail, Golden Toad Holding the Moon, and Divine Turtle Emerging from the Water. Boat on the lake, listen to local boys and girls singing mountain songs to express affection, and watch egrets fishing in the clear green water. Alternatively, visit the underground dragon palace—Yellow Dragon Cave (about 2.5 hours), with famous sights including Dragon Dance Hall, Xiangshui River, Heavenly Fairy Water, Tianzhu Street, Dragon Palace, and the Maze. Visit Tianzi Pavilion, West Sea Stone Forest, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, He Long Park, Stone Boat Sailing Out to Sea, Herb-Collecting Old Man, and the bronze statue of He Long.
In the afternoon, walk down Tianzi Mountain via Wolong Ridge to reach Ten-Mile Gallery.
