Morning group pickup, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: one-day tour of Huangshizhai Scenic Area and Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area
Morning:
The guide and driver will meet the group with a sign at Zhangjiajie Airport or Railway Station. Depart from Zhangjiajie city area and arrive in 40 minutes at China's first national forest park—Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (￥248 ticket included). Visit the Great Oxygen Bar Square (8-10 million negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter of air), then climb to 1,200 meters above sea level at Huangshizhai Scenic Area, known by the saying 'If you don't go up Huangshizhai, your trip to Zhangjiajie is in vain' (you may choose to pay for the Huangshizhai cable car up and down at ￥65/person/trip, or choose to walk): take in thousands of mountains and valleys at a glance. Walking along the loop trail around the summit, you can enjoy Huangshizhai's breathtaking natural scenery, including Liuqi Pavilion, Star-Picking Platform, Double Gates Welcoming Guests, Five-Finger Peak, Golden Turtle in the Sea of Mist, Natural Mural, Huangshi Pine, Echo Wall, and Nine-Layer Wall.

Stroll along 'China's most beautiful grand canyon'—Golden Whip Stream: Golden Whip Stream is 7.5 km long and takes about 2.5 hours to walk. It is a naturally formed beautiful stream, named after Golden Whip Rock. The valley is lush with vegetation, and the stream is clear in all four seasons, known as a 'landscape gallery' and 'fairyland on earth.' Along the way, visit famous sights such as Golden Whip Rock, Divine Eagle Guarding the Whip, Cleaving the Mountain to Save the Mother, Drunken Arhat, Wenxing Rock, Purple Grass Pool, Meeting After a Thousand Miles, Water Winding Around Four Gates, Guanyin Delivering a Child, Master and Disciples Seeking Scriptures, Longevity Spring, Candle Peak, Two Turtles Exploring the Stream, and Scholar Storing Books. At the end of Golden Whip Stream, exit at Water Winding Around Four Gates, take the eco-bus for 25 minutes to the Suoxiyu ticket station, arrive at the hotel, and end the pleasant day's tour!

Morning:
Depart from the hotel to the Suoxiyu ticket station to enter the scenic area. You may optionally take the world's No. 1 elevator—Bailong Elevator (￥72/person) to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area: Yuanjiajie is Zhangjiajie's core landscape and a premium tour route. Its scenery is known for being majestic, strange, perilous, and steep. Along the more than ten-li mountain loop trail, there are countless beautiful views, including the prototype of the 'Hallelujah Mountain' from the movie Avatar—'Qiankun Pillar,' the natural stone bridge with the greatest discovered height difference so far—World's No. 1 Bridge, Jiutian Mystic Ladder, Bagua Diagram, Ape Watching the Moon, and Worshipping Immortals Platform.
Afternoon:
Take the eco-bus for 40 minutes to reach Tianzi Mountain Nature Scenic Area, known as the 'King of Peak Forests': 'If one truly knows Tianzi's face, no other mountains are worth seeing after returning.' This shows Tianzi Mountain's charming and beautiful scenery with many attractions. Visit He Long Park, which combines nature and culture, Imperial Brush Peak, Fairy Presenting Flowers, West Sea Stone Forest, and Stone Boat Sailing Out to Sea. You can go up to Tianzi Pavilion, the highest point of Tianzi Mountain, and look far out over the panoramic view. Walk down the mountain for 2 hours (you may optionally take the Tianzi Mountain cable car down at ￥67/person) to reach Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area, where you can visit Herb-Collecting Old Man, one of Zhangjiajie's top ten wonders, Three Sisters Peak, Twilight Love, Golden Rooster Announcing Dawn, Couple Holding Child, and Heavenly Dog Watching the Moon (you may optionally take the sightseeing mini-train for the full route at ￥38/person one way).

Baofeng Lake Scenic Area or Yellow Dragon Cave Scenic Area
Morning:
Visit the "Jade Lake of the Human World" — Baofeng Lake Scenic Area (admission ￥96 included): Baofeng Lake combines mountains and water in one, blending folk customs into a single experience. It is especially famous for the spectacular high-gorge lake scenery, the Baofeng Waterfall that "plunges three thousand feet," and the mysterious ancient temple deep in the mountains. We will go to see the vivid attractions such as Baofeng Waterfall, Fairy Mirroring, Stone Gate Welcoming Guests, Peacock Spreading Its Tail, Golden Toad Holding the Moon, and Divine Turtle Emerging from the Water. Boating on the lake, you can listen to the mountain songs of the young men and women on the water expressing love, and watch the egrets fishing in the leisurely green waters.
Or visit the Yellow Dragon Cave Scenic Area (admission ￥100 included), known as the "all-around champion of world karst caves": Yellow Dragon Cave was selected in 2005 as "China's Most Beautiful Tourist Cave." Inside the cave, lights are dim and stalagmites stand in forests, like ancient trees with twisted roots and gnarled branches. There are caves within caves and rivers within caves, full of wonders — truly a veritable "underground magic palace." The cave also has famous attractions such as the 100-million-yuan-insured stalagmite Dinghai Shenzhen, Xiangshui River, Dragon King Gathering Hall, Heavenly Fairy Water, and Tianzhu Street.
Afternoon:
After lunch, drive through the "ancient battlefield of a thousand years" Baizhang Gorge to exit the scenic area: the gorge is named because it has stone cliffs nearly a hundred zhang high piercing the sky, too awe-inspiring to look up at. Passing through Zhangjiajie city, if the weather is clear, you can also see from the vehicle the majestic Tianmen Mountain, the "soul of Wuling," and Tianmen Cave.

Exciting rafting on Mengdong River, exploring the ancient and secluded Furong Town, heading to Fenghuang Ancient Town
Morning:
After breakfast, take a private car to the "Number One Rafting in the World" — Mengdong River Rafting (￥170 included). Starting from "Hani Palace," go downstream in a small boat through the high mountain gorges of the primitive secondary forest. Wearing life jackets, riding rubber boats, braving dangerous shoals, fighting the rushing currents, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way, bathing in waterfalls, splashing water, and passing through gorge passes, appearing and disappearing between the waves and the valley bottom. Along the way, you will pass Triangle Rock, Chicken Coop Gate, Nitu Waterfall, Yama Shoal, Luoshui Keng Waterfall, Mengsi Gorge... dozens of scenic spots come one after another, too beautiful to take in all at once. You can sing loudly, brave the waves and charge the shoals, or play in the water and frolic, and rediscover the self you lost long ago.
Afternoon:
Afterward, visit the thousand-year-old ancient town — Furong Town (Wangcun): the ancient town's stone-slab street, chastity archway, Wangcun Waterfall, and taste Liu Xiaoqing's rice tofu. Drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town (about 2.5 hours): along the way, observe the folk customs of western Hunan. Fenghuang Ancient Town is a national historical and cultural city and was once praised by the famous New Zealand writer Rewi Alley as China's most beautiful small town.

Visit [Fenghuang Ancient Town Nine Scenic Sites] (admission ￥148 included): Fenghuang Ancient Town has beautiful scenery, a long history, and many places of historic interest and scenic beauty. Inside the town, ancient city towers and Ming- and Qing-dynasty courtyards still retain their elegance, and the ancient, simple Tuo River flows quietly. Here you can visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and father of local-color literature; the former residence of Xiong Xiling, premier of the Republic of China; the East Gate Tower, one of the four great ancient city gates of Fenghuang; the century-old Chen Baozhen family residence, now the ancient town museum; the Yang Family Ancestral Hall, a treasure of western Hunan architectural art; Chongde Hall, the residence of the richest family in old Fenghuang; the elegant, refined, antique Hongqiao Art Tower lying across the Tuo River; the Wanshou Palace, praised as "a grand showcase of architectural art where palaces, halls, towers, and terraces gather"; and you can also [boat on the Tuo River], listening to the distinctive mountain songs of Miao girls, amid the clear, emerald Tuo River, visiting along the way the century-old Tujia stilted houses on both banks.
In addition, in your spare time, you can walk along the Tuo River's "jumping rocks" and the small stone-slab streets in Ming- and Qing-dynasty style, then follow the drifting aroma of ginger candy to stroll through the folk-custom street. You will find shops along the street full of Tujia silver jewelry, Xilankapu brocade, bamboo wares, and other handicrafts, and taste local specialty snacks that will whet your appetite and be unforgettable, letting you experience a truly leisurely trip to Fenghuang Ancient Town!
Afternoon:
Depart from Fenghuang Ancient Town and drive about 1 hour to Jishou Railway Station to see off the group, ending the pleasant journey through western Hunan! (If needed, we can also send guests back to Zhangjiajie for group drop-off free of charge.)

1. Meals for individual travelers: For groups of fewer than 9 individual travelers, meals are not included. Travelers may choose on their own:
A. Order meals separately; travelers may decide freely according to personal preference and choose local specialties à la carte;
B. Have the travel agency or guide recommend and arrange package meals, with standards of ￥40, ￥50, or ￥60/person/day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
2. Scenic area cableways: Fees for cable cars, cableways, sightseeing mini-trains, elevators, and other transport tools within the scenic area;
3. Major transportation: Does not include major transportation costs such as air tickets and train tickets to and from Zhangjiajie from the traveler's location;
4. Other expenses: Personal consumption, optional paid items, and additional expenses caused by force majeure, etc.;
Note: Scenic area hotels use combined consumption; if meals are not taken, no refund will be given. If attractions cannot be visited due to force majeure, or if discount tickets are generated with discount-eligible documents, only the difference after the discounted settlement price will be refunded.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ticket discount and free ticket policy:
1. Travelers holding the new version of a press card, active-duty officer card, military disability card, civilian cadre card, student card, police officer card (armed police), soldier card, or retired officer card, and children under 1.2 meters, may pass directly through the special channel with valid documents;
2. Seniors aged 70 and above may purchase a ￥68 eco-bus ticket with their ID card;
3. Seniors aged 60-69 may purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with their ID card (must be full age);
4. Students over 1.2 meters and under 24 years old may purchase a ￥163 discount ticket with their student card and ID card;
5. Children over 1.2 meters and under 1.5 meters may directly purchase a ￥163 discount ticket.
