The Middle Tianzi Temple is properly named "Tianzi Hall." It is located at Dingxinrong in the central part of Tianzi Mountain, facing west with its back to the east. It was first built in the 23rd year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1390) and restored in the 2nd year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1645). The temple has a brick, stone, and wood structure, similar in form to the Upper Tianzi Temple, with a building area of 150 square meters. Inside are three main halls, enshrining gilded wooden statues of King Xiang and his consort. At the top center of the temple is written vertically the three characters "Tianzi Hall," below which is a horizontal couplet reading "Glorious deeds endure through the ages," flanked by vertical couplets reading: "Xiang has already been proclaimed king, his fame resounding throughout the three thousand realms; Heaven indeed has its son, his sacrificial offerings fragrant for millions of years." The characters "Xiang Wang Tian Zi" are also embedded within the couplets. In front of the statues of King Xiang and his consort, a wooden tablet is inscribed vertically with "Long live the reigning emperor, ten thousand years, ten thousand times ten thousand years." A stone stele recording the restoration of the Xiangwang Temple during the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty is preserved in the temple.
