The Lower Tianzi Temple is properly named "Tianzi Temple." It is located halfway up the Beacon Tower Mountain at the western end of Tianzi Mountain, facing south with its back to the north. The northern temple was first built in the 24th year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1391) and restored in the 9th year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1878), with an area of 140 square meters. Its shape and structure are similar to the Middle Tianzi Temple. In the three main halls, besides King Xiang and his consort, statues of the Eight Bureaus' Commanders and General Yang Sa are also enshrined, along with spirit tablets for Guanyin, the Patriarch, the Three Officials and Great Emperors, the God of Literature, the Holy Mother Who Mended Heaven, Fuxi, and Shennong. The temple gate is also a memorial-arch-style structure, with the three characters "Tianzi Temple" written vertically in the center of the upper section. The horizontal couplet below has been lost, and the vertical couplets on both sides read: "If one is truly a king like Xiang, his majesty extends over mountains and rivers; Heaven indeed has its son, whose virtue benefits the altars of soil and grain." The couplets also contain the four characters "Xiang Tian Wang Zi." In front of the statues of King Xiang and his consort, a wooden tablet is inscribed vertically with the same text as before. Inside the temple is a stone stele from the 9th year of Tongzhi, titled "Preface to the Supplementary Construction of the Xiangwang Tianzi Temple with Guanyin, the Patriarch, the Three Officials, Wenchang, the Holy Mother Who Mended Heaven, Fuxi, Shennong, and General Yang Si of the Eight Bureaus."
