Xiangzi Rock is located in Jinping Village, Gaoqiao Township, Cili County, with the Cili-Dongxi Highway winding around its foot, covering an area of 1.7 kilometers. Its southern side is about 200 meters high and about 80 meters long, hanging sheer as if carved, entirely composed of rectangular rock blocks. The rock blocks are generally about 6 meters long and 2 meters high, dark black with a glossy sheen, closely resembling black leather trunks, hence the name Xiangzi Rock (Trunk Rock). These rock blocks, viewed horizontally, form row upon row; viewed vertically, form layer upon layer, countless in number. The entire Xiangzi Rock looks like a half-mountain built of trunks. When sunlight shines on it, it glows; when rain and dew moisten it, it becomes like a mirror. Mingjing Rock is thus regarded as a place for seeking wonders and exploring scenic beauty.
