Shadao Gully is located on the north side of the middle reaches of Jinbian Stream in the northeast part of the Forest Park. It was named because local mountain people once cut and burned swidden fields here to plant corn. It is a canyon, known for its wildness. The stream originates in Yuanjiajie, flows from northwest to southeast, and empties into Jinbian Stream at Zicao Pool, with a total length of 5 kilometers. The valley is "V"-shaped, twenty to thirty meters wide. Going up along the stream, there are major scenic spots such as Qingxin Pool, Five Women Worshipping the Marshal, Peacock Spreading Its Tail, and Moon Pass.
