Jinbian Stream originates in Tudi Pass within the park, flows from west to northeast, and after passing Laomowan, joins Pipa Stream, Hua Stream, Shadao Gully, and Cha Stream, flowing 7.5 kilometers into Suo Stream, then into Lou and Li, and finally into Dongting.
Jinbian Stream winds and turns, shifting with the mountains. On both banks, precipices soar to the sky, and peaks and ridges pile up in countless layers. Along the stream grow ancient and strange trees and exotic flowers and plants. On the stone walls hang ancient pines, in the woods birds and beasts often frolic, and in the water fish swim leisurely. The scenery is extraordinarily secluded and incomparably beautiful.
Jinbian Stream is the valley with the most concentrated scenery in the Forest Park, and also one of the canyons in the world today with the most concentrated and most peculiar scenery and a relatively easy tour. It is praised as a "fairyland on earth" and a "Peach Blossom Spring beyond the world."
