Jinbian Stream Grand Canyon

Jinbian Stream Grand Canyon

Jinbian Stream originates from Tudi Pass within the park, flowing from west to northeast. After Laomowan it converges with Pipa Stream, Hua Stream, Shadao Valley, and Cha Stream, flowing 7.5 kilometers into Suo Stream, then into Lou and Li rivers, and finally into Dongting Lake. Jinbian Stream winds and turns, following the mountains. Both banks have towering cliffs and layered peaks. Ancient and exotic trees and strange flowers and plants grow along the stream. Ancient pines hang from rock faces, birds and animals play in the forest, and fish swim leisurely in the water. The scenery is exceptionally serene and exquisitely beautiful.

Jinbian Stream winds and turns, shifting with the mountains. On both banks, precipices soar to the sky, and peaks and ridges pile up in countless layers. Along the stream grow ancient and strange trees and exotic flowers and plants. On the stone walls hang ancient pines, in the woods birds and beasts often frolic, and in the water fish swim leisurely. The scenery is extraordinarily secluded and incomparably beautiful.

Jinbian Stream is the valley with the most concentrated scenery in the Forest Park, and also one of the canyons in the world today with the most concentrated and most peculiar scenery and a relatively easy tour. It is praised as a "fairyland on earth" and a "Peach Blossom Spring beyond the world."
