Behind Small Tianmen is a narrow and long ravine. Following the ravine for more than 400 meters, there is a sheer cliff, and a clear spring pours down from a height of more than 200 meters. In midsummer when there is much rain, the waterfall rushes straight against the stone ledge below the cliff; droplets splash into midair and then fall back to the valley floor, scattering more than 10 meters away, with a sound like muffled thunder. When the sky clears after rain, a rainbow often rises.
