At the eastern end of the top of Huangshi Village, a ridge about 20 meters high extends outward. At the tip of the ridge is a viewing platform formed by two layers of sandstone stacked together. The base rock has an area of about 20 square meters and is about 5 meters high; the rock stacked on top is about 10 meters high, with a platform about 5 meters in diameter at the top. It is enclosed by iron railings, and an ancient pine like an umbrella stands upright on it. Below lies a secluded valley; above is the sky. Standing on the platform, white clouds drift overhead, and below your feet are the secluded valley and green peaks. On rainy days, mist and clouds fill the air, and the surrounding peaks appear and disappear in changing forms. When the bright moon is in the sky and you stand on the platform, the stars all over the sky seem close enough to pluck with a hand. On November 28, 1993, State Councilor Zhang Jinfu ascended the platform to enjoy the view and named it.
