Zhangjiajie Jiangya Hot Spring Resort was invested in and built by the Hunan Lishui River Basin Water Conservancy and Hydropower Comprehensive Development Company under the Ministry of Water Resources, and is managed and operated by Hong Kong Royal Hot Spring International Resort Hotel Management (Group) Co., Ltd. It is located in Jiangya Town, Cili County, adjacent to the Wulingyuan core scenic area of Zhangjiajie World Natural Heritage. It is a new highlight of the scenic eastern Zhangjiajie tourism route, marking the gradual transformation of Zhangjiajie's tourism products from a single sightseeing type to a sightseeing and leisure vacation type.

Jiangya Hot Spring Resort is the first hot spring resort in Zhangjiajie and currently the only antique-style semi-open-air hot spring in Xiangxi. It features over 20 high-standard outdoor and indoor Jiangya hot spring pools, each with its own characteristics and benefits. With a natural garden-style layout, cobblestone and bluestone paths, rockeries and waterfalls, small bridges and flowing streams, the Jiangya hot spring pools are like pearls set within it all—a tranquil and serene mountain fairyland with a strong rustic charm. It integrates hot springs, dining, guest rooms, conferences, fitness, entertainment, sauna, and beauty services, and is especially suitable for leisure, vacation, entertainment, convalescence, conferences, training, and business activities.

The spring water of Jiangya Hot Spring is crystal clear, with an outlet temperature of around 54°C year-round. According to expert testing, Jiangya hot spring water is rich in various mineral trace elements beneficial to human health. It has special therapeutic effects on neurogenic bone pain, rheumatism, and many other ailments, and provides health benefits such as relaxing muscles and stimulating blood circulation, strengthening the body, nourishing the skin and promoting beauty, calming the mind and relieving fright, and delaying aging.

With its rich hot spring bathing culture and warm, thoughtful, cozy, and meticulous "royal" service, Jiangya Hot Spring fully displays its magical charm, attracting many noble-minded people who pursue health and love beauty, forming a leisurely, comfortable, safe, and healthy new world of leisure, vacation, and tourism.

On April 21, 2003, Zhangjiajie's first hot spring resort—Jiangya Hot Spring Resort—grandly opened. As the only antique palace-style semi-open-air hot spring in Hunan Province at the time, the birth of Zhangjiajie Jiangya Hot Spring Resort marked the transformation of Zhangjiajie's tourism products from a single sightseeing type to a sightseeing and leisure vacation type, ushering in a new era for Zhangjiajie's tourism industry. Over the past two years, Zhangjiajie Jiangya Hot Spring Resort has received nearly 400,000 Chinese and foreign visitors and has been honored with titles including National 4A-level Tourist Area (Site), National Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Three-Star Tourist Hotel, One of Hunan's Top 100 Scenic Spots, and One of Zhangjiajie's Premium Tour Routes. Its quality service and excellent reputation have been highly praised by Chinese and foreign tourists and industry professionals alike, and Jiangya Hot Spring has become a golden brand in the minds of Chinese and foreign tourists visiting Zhangjiajie.

The beautiful Lou River rushes down from the towering mountains at the border of Hunan and Hubei provinces, receives the Suoxi Stream from the Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area at Jiangya Town in Cili County, and sings its way eastward to join the Lishui River. As the largest tributary of the Lishui River, one of the four major rivers in Hunan Province, the Lou River contains enormous hydropower resources. The Hunan Lishui River Basin Water Conservancy and Hydropower Development Company of the Ministry of Water Resources spent 10 years and invested 3.3 billion yuan to build the national key project—the Jiangya Hydropower Station, with comprehensive functions including flood control, power generation, tourism, and irrigation. Three hundred meters downstream of the dam, a natural hot spring called "Hot Water Pit" sends up billowing steam, dressing the reservoir area into a charming fairyland. Testing shows that the water temperature at the spring outlet reaches 54°C, it is rich in various minerals beneficial to human health, and its daily flow rate reaches as high as 1,500 cubic meters. In April 2002, the senior management of the Lishui Company held a special meeting to discuss how to revitalize state-owned assets after the completion of the national key water conservancy project, rationally utilize the unique tourism resources of Jiangya Hot Spring, and contribute to Zhangjiajie's tourism industry. They ultimately decided to develop and build Jiangya Hot Spring and bring it before Chinese and foreign tourists.

In August 2002, after multiple inspections and negotiations, the Lishui Company reached a cooperation agreement with Hong Kong Royal Hot Spring International Resort Hotel Management (Group) Company, engaging it to develop, build, manage, and operate Jiangya Hot Spring. Construction of Jiangya Hot Spring Resort officially began. Drawing on Royal Hot Spring's advanced design concepts and unique experience in hot spring resort construction, Jiangya Hot Spring Resort was built into a beautiful garden covering over 300 mu, composed of three major sections: hot springs, guest rooms, and dining. With green trees and blooming flowers, grass everywhere, and antique palace-style buildings scattered like stars among the greenery, the resort is a sight to behold. Upon entering the resort, the fresh air, beautiful environment, and fragrant flowers are intoxicating, while the chirping of birds nurtures the spirit. Before visitors even begin bathing, more than half of the worries of the mundane world have already been cast aside. In the hot spring bathing area, pavilions and towers stand row upon row, large and small hot spring pools are arranged in picturesque disorder, indoor and outdoor areas are clearly layered, and rockeries and waterfalls murmur gently. The ingenious design and elegant, unique layout draw unstinting praise from every visitor who comes to Jiangya Hot Spring Resort for leisure and bathing.

No tourism service enterprise can do without advanced management and quality service, and Jiangya Hot Spring Resort is no exception. The "Ten Ones" standard service—one salute, one smile, one greeting, one towel, one pair of slippers, one cup of tea, one umbrella, one white glove, one rubber band, and one helping hand—embodies the painstaking efforts and sweat of all resort staff. Its proactive and meticulous service lets visitors feel patience, thoughtfulness, delicacy, and warmth, enjoying treatment as noble as that of an emperor. On the issue of water quality treatment, each hot spring pool in the resort continuously receives fresh hot spring water flowing directly from the source, with a natural overflow design ensuring that the water in the pools is fresh at every moment and rich in various minerals. At the same time, the pools are drained and cleaned daily for sanitation, disinfection, and maintenance. Slippers, swimwear, towels, customer service items, and other service supplies all follow a management model of one-time disinfection, washing, drying, and packaging. Every time the health supervision departments at the Zhangjiajie city and Cili county levels inspect the resort, they greatly praise the water quality and hygiene conditions of Jiangya Hot Spring. The quality service of Jiangya Hot Spring is also reflected in the diversity of its service offerings and its continuous enrichment and improvement of those offerings. The resort has carefully designed and provided for Chinese and foreign tourists a variety of hot spring pools including outdoor hot springs, indoor hot springs, waterfall hot springs, red wine hot springs, coconut milk hot springs, flower stamen hot springs, coffee hot springs, stone slab hot springs, and Six Blessings Soup hot springs (hot springs with various Chinese herbs), as well as various service facilities such as sauna baths, a gym, aromatherapy rooms, lounges, massage rooms, VIP rooms, and an indoor sports hall. It has also added surfing pools, hydrotherapy halls, outdoor swimming pools, and other service projects to enrich visitors' leisure experiences, making visitors reluctant to leave.

Through over 20 years of development and construction, Zhangjiajie has transformed from an obscure small town in western Hunan into a internationally renowned new tourism city, possessing golden credentials such as World Natural Heritage, World Geopark, and China's first National Forest Park. Its world-rare quartz sandstone peak forest landscape has captivated tens of millions of Chinese and foreign tourists. Leveraging its geographical advantage of being on Zhangjiajie's premium eastern tour route and only a 40-minute drive from the Wulingyuan core scenic area, Jiangya Hot Spring Resort has made great efforts in publicity and marketing, attracting visitors from the core scenic area to come to the resort for vacation and leisure, with visitor numbers and revenue climbing steadily. In past Golden Weeks, the resort's revenue would not exceed 250,000 yuan, but this year's "May Day" tourism Golden Week saw revenue reach 380,000 yuan. Currently, both the guest room occupancy rate and restaurant seating rate have reached over 90%, and the hot spring bathing area sees an endless stream of visitors flocking in.

Through more than two years of unremitting efforts, Jiangya Hot Spring has become the top brand of quality service in Zhangjiajie's tourism industry by word of mouth. But Jiangya Hot Spring Resort has not paused for a moment, adhering to the corporate policy of continuous improvement and constant refinement, steadily advancing toward a stronger brand and better service. On March 31 of this year, due to policy reasons, the cooperation agreement between the Lishui Company and Hong Kong Royal Hot Spring International Resort Hotel Management (Group) Company was terminated early, and all management personnel and technical backbone dispatched by the management company withdrew from Jiangya Hot Spring Resort. Far from collapsing after separating from the Royal Hot Spring management company, Jiangya Hot Spring Resort continued to grow and expand. While carrying on Royal Hot Spring's advanced management and operation model and quality service reception procedures, it refined many framework provisions in service reception into practical and feasible measures, enabling it to provide better service to Chinese and foreign tourists. In particular, it comprehensively reformed the previously flawed dining operations, strictly managing venue hygiene and service procedures, emphasizing that the more rustic the dishes, the better, continuously developing and exploring famous local dishes from Jiangya Town, Cili County, and Zhangjiajie City, and striving to provide Chinese and foreign tourists with delicious local flavors, winning rounds of praise from visitors. The hot spring water is smooth and washes the congealed skin; steal a half-day of leisure from a busy life. Zhangjiajie Jiangya Hot Spring Resort—a place to ward off the cold in winter and beat the heat in summer—has become an excellent tourism destination and a leisure vacation resort for Chinese and foreign tourists visiting Zhangjiajie to invest in their health.
