Sifangcheng Site

Sifangcheng Site

In 202 BC (the 5th year of Emperor Gaozu of Han), Qianling County was established. Because the county seat was square in shape, it was called Sifangcheng (Square City). Unearthed artifacts include short swords, dagger-axes, and bronze mirrors with mountain characters from the Warring States period; bronze basins and bronze vessels from the Han Dynasty; and porcelain from the Yuan Dynasty. The site still exists today.
