Luqi Peak is in the eastern urban area. The mountain has two peaks like writing brushes, often shrouded in white mist year-round, hence the phrase 'White clouds veil Luqi Peak.' Historical records state that Su Dan of the Han dynasty and Luo Hongxian, the top scholar of the Ming dynasty, cultivated themselves and achieved enlightenment here. On the mountain, the Su Xian Nunnery, Su Xian Pavilion, Bagua Well, and Ascension Rock appear ethereal amidst the white clouds. Now the mountain is covered with green pines and cypresses, a road leads directly to the summit, the magnificent Lufeng Temple has been rebuilt, the Bagua Well has been repaired, a stele wall has been constructed, and a telephone tower stands tall in the clouds. It is an excellent place for sightseeing and summer retreat.
