Huanxiu Tower is located southeast of Wuyi Square in the urban area, close to the Leishui River. Also known as Wangjiang Tower, Kuixing Tower, or Octagonal Pavilion, it was built in 1376 during the ninth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty. It was repaired multiple times through the Qing Dynasty and Republic of China, and restored to its original appearance by the municipal government in 1995. The tower is now four stories and 30 meters tall, with an octagonal base and helmet-shaped top, featuring octagonal flying eaves with carved beasts and hanging bells. The interior has a suspended basin-style ceiling with vivid painted figures, landscapes, and auspicious beasts.
