Tangquan Hot Spring is located in Tangquan Village, Donghu. It covers over a hundred mu, with more than ten spring outlets. It does not diminish during long droughts nor rise during prolonged rains, and the water remains at a constant temperature of 38–38.5°C year-round. The water contains elements beneficial to physical and mental health, and drinking it can help treat cardiovascular diseases. It has been listed by the state as one of the 'Top Ten Mineral Waters in China.' Bathing in this hot spring can treat various skin diseases and arthritis. A visitor wrote a poem: 'Stone crevices bubble with hot springs, the finest in Huxiang. In harsh winter the warmth persists, in long drought the water never ceases. It washes away dust and cures diseases, and is best for drinking. Divine power from heaven's creation, universally answering the people's needs.' Now a modern hot spring resort has been built at the spring outlets, with over a hundred baths of high, medium, and low grades.
