Quanfeng Temple

Quanfeng Temple

Located on a mountain 28 kilometers southwest of Changning County, at an elevation of 487.9 meters, with spring water at the summit, a 'Xie Xian Terrace,' and a temple, hence the name 'Quanfeng Temple.' The temple has since been destroyed, but the 'Quanfeng Sunset' scenery remains visible. At the northern foot is a reservoir, with mountains and water reflecting each other in pleasant scenery. A poem reads: 'The towering peak rises above the low hills, overlooking Yicheng like a cassia brow. Though dusk gathers at the river's head, the evening brings a wondrous sight of flying white silk.'

The towering peak rises elegant above the four low mountains,

Looking down, Yicheng appears like a cassia-leaf eyebrow.

Already the river head is filled with dusk colors,

Yet the remaining flying white silk of evening is most wondrous.
