Chuankou Cave is in Huaqiao Township, 62 kilometers east of Hengyang County seat. Around it, peaks vie in beauty and cliffs rise steeply. Below the cliff lies a horizontal empty cave, resembling an arched bridge. The cave is 20 meters high and 250 meters long and can hold a thousand people. Inside are stalactites hanging in myriad forms, and spring water flows out from crevices in the rock and is channeled into the nearby Longxi Bridge Reservoir.
