The Mountain Spring Gushing Well is located at Sanhetang, Qiaotou Group, Shuijing Village, Tanzishan Town, and was discovered in the 1960s during a survey of Tanshan. According to legend, the spring water of this well is connected to an underground river, flowing continuously year-round, clear in flow and sweet in quality. Because when it was discovered the water gushed out swiftly and forcefully, it was named the Mountain Spring Gushing Well.
Later, experts used special measures to control the outward gushing flow. Now a steel pipe with a diameter of 5 cun is retained as the outlet, serving as the main water source for dozens of mu of surrounding farmland and the daily water use of nearby villagers.
