The entire mausoleum is constructed of granite and white marble, in sequence: entrance, walkway, tomb plaza, memorial tower, and tomb base, set off by pines and cypresses, privet vines, and other precious flowers and plants, appearing solemn, reverent, and elegant. The entire cemetery covers 5.29 mu, with the tower 8.2 meters high. In 1972 the cemetery was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit and became a patriotism education base for primary and secondary school students in Hengshan County. Every Qingming Festival, Young Pioneers and Communist Youth League members come here to lay flowers and sweep the tombs. At ordinary times, many outside visitors and local people also come to visit. Climbing up to the cemetery, admiring the hero with deep respect, gazing at the distant Xiangjiang River and the nearby beautiful scenery, one feels relaxed and joyful, with a unique sentiment.
