The Huarong County Museum is located within the Martyrs' Cemetery, covering a total area of nearly 10,000 square meters, with an investment of nearly 5 million yuan. The main building is 2,452 square meters, with an external plaza and 'Liufang Garden.' The entire structure is solemn and majestic, simple and elegant. It has 10 exhibition rooms with six major thematic contents: the He Changgong Life and Deeds Exhibition Room, the Huarong Famous People and Generals Exhibition Room, the Huarong Historical Relics Exhibition Room, the Huarong Yuan Dynasty Tomb Exhibition Room, the Huarong Revolutionary History Exhibition Room, and the Huarong Construction Achievements Exhibition Room. There are over 1,000 kinds of revolutionary and historical relics and more than 600 photographs. The museum houses a large number of historical artifacts, including a well-preserved female corpse from the Yuan Dynasty. This female corpse was discovered in April 1988 at the Chengguan Oil Factory within the County Grain Bureau; at that time, her hair was intact and her muscles still elastic. In April 2002, it was designated as a 'Hunan Province Patriotism Education Base' by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee.
