  The Pingjiang Jiayi Martyrs' Cemetery, also the site of the 'Pingjiang Massacre,' is located in Jiayi Town, 40 kilometers from the county seat. In February 1938, the First Regiment of the First Detachment of the New Fourth Army set out from Pingjiang for the anti-Japanese front in southern Anhui and established the 'New Fourth Army Liaison Office.' On June 12, 1939, due to a traitor's betrayal, Chiang Kai-shek suddenly sent agents to attack, creating the 'Pingjiang Massacre.' The martyrs fell at Longhu Ridge. Besides the original site, the main attractions include the 'Pingjiang Massacre' historical materials exhibition, the place where Comrade Tu Zhengkun sacrificed his life, the gold-panning cave where Zeng Quansheng, Wu Hequan, and Zhao Lvling were buried alive, the place where Comrade Wu Yuan sacrificed his life, and the Jiayi Martyrs' Cemetery, which comprehensively presents the history of the world-shaking Pingjiang Massacre.
