Changsha Zifeng Park is located on the east bank of the Xiangjiang Second Bridge. The main bridge of the bridge passes overhead, dividing the park into two halves. Viewed from above, it is a butterfly, but in reality it is a green gem in the north of Changsha City. The park covers 60.19 [mu], costing 4.2 million yuan. Currently, the park has 27,000 square meters of green land, 24,000 square meters of planted lawn, and 1,000 square meters of flower beds, with the park's vegetation coverage rate reaching 75%.

Since the park opened on December 22, 1993, it has received an average of 260,000 visitors per year. The architectural style in the park is harmoniously unified with the modern bridge, with novel shapes and bright colors, and features eleven scenic spots: Wisteria Corridor, Bridge Chronicle Stele, Lotus Emerging from Water, Water Curtain Pool, Zodiac Wall, Three-Legged Pagoda, Small Stream Bridge, Rockery, etc. Among them, the Bridge Chronicle Stele is carved from white marble with the "Record of Changsha Xiangjiang Second Bridge," the first scenic spot in the park bearing text, with a full text of 347 characters. The four rockeries distributed in the north-south direction each have their own style—some like a group of peaks standing tall with vast blue waves; some like a dripping water cave with layered shade blocking the sun; some like a dragon stretching its neck, singing to the sun; some like a curved cup inviting the moon, facing its shadow in pairs—sparking endless imagination and lingering aftertaste for visitors.

The park is lined with trees, flowers, vegetation covering the ground, green grass like a carpet, undulating hills, and pleasant scenery. Its beautiful, clean, and comfortable ecological environment has attracted many visitors. The park not only has towering, picturesque large trees such as cedars and poplars, but also dense clumps and ball-like flowering shrubs such as winter jasmine, boxwood, and red photinia, as well as lush green Taiwan grass lawns as soft as fur. These form a harmonious and beautiful natural landscape of birdsong and fragrant flowers, orioles singing and swallows dancing, deeply attracting passing visitors and inspiring people to love freedom, love life, cast aside useless worries, and seek inner happiness. The park has become a place for many middle-aged and elderly friends to exercise, with nearly a thousand visitors coming morning and evening to practice swordplay, take walks, and do exercises. At the same time, the park has invested more than 1.2 million yuan to develop twelve amusement projects such as battery cars, skating rinks, and racing cars, providing a playground for children and teenagers. Zifeng Park on summer nights is even more of a good place for citizens to escape the heat and cool off. When night falls, the four high-pole lights standing in the park shine brilliantly, making the park as bright as a bright moon in the sky, illuminated all night. On clear summer nights, visitors are everywhere—people either stroll along the winding paths, or rest on the green shade around; or in the open-air dance floor, accompanied by joyful music, fully enjoying the charm of light singing and graceful dancing; or freely enjoying themselves in the amusement area... All of this is truly enchanting!
