Wangyue Park is located on the north side of Xianjiahu Road, bordered by Xiaoxiang North Road to the east and adjacent to the Changsha High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Within it lies the famous Western Han tomb complex of the Wu clan kings of Changsha. At the park entrance stands a stele with relief carvings imitating Han dynasty pictorial art. The lower section features figures of "mulberry picking," "ox plowing," "chariots and horses," and "knights," while the upper section shows auspicious clouds drifting, auspicious stars shining high, and the sun, moon, Azure Dragon, and Vermilion Bird appearing in the sky—recreating the advanced production techniques, powerful military strength, and dreams of the soul's ascent to heaven of the Western Han Kingdom of Changsha.
Entering the park, osmanthus trees are planted all along the broad concrete road. In golden autumn, their heavenly fragrance fills the garden and seeps into the heart.
To the west of the road lies the Elephant Trunk Hill Royal Tomb Scenic Area, which is planned to display tomb artifacts excavated in the 1970s. Climbing the simple and elegant "Changguan Pavilion," one can pay homage to Changsha's past glory and feel the pulse of today's development. Between Elephant Trunk Hill and Fan-shaped Hill, streams wind and flowers vie in beauty; to the north, Lion Hill's pine winds embrace the moon, full of winding charm.
To the east of the road is the Cloud Lake Scenic Area. The shoreline is winding, willows sway gently, and the lake surface is shaped like a gourd. The lower lake is broad, suitable for boating; the upper lake is thick with aquatic plants, and the "Lanyue Tower" extends over the water. Between the two lakes stands a crescent-shaped bridge, where visitors can experience the rich diversity of the scenery and appreciate the ancient simplicity and weightiness of "Yingde stone" and the uncanny craftsmanship of "Taihu stone."
To the northwest of the water scenic area are large lawns and a children's playground. With green shade and dappled shadows, feeling and scenery blend—yet another delightful scene.
